Beast of a machine (WiFi problem at the start)

I got this at an incredible $400 off, but even without the discount this computer is worth it. Save time, save money update the tools of your business.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This laptop's intel CPU ran at 95C the whole time I game even with older titles example when I played Civilization 5 with Direct 11 it ran 95C, addition I would recommend upgrading the RAM since I'm always hitting 14 GB it in games and browsing, GPU stays around 75-85c on helldivers. I highly recommend if you get this laptop get a laptop cooler, or just get a AMD CPU they run lot cooler

Extra Thoughts. Bought this with memory specs of 16gb DDR5 (2 x 8gb) @ 4800 .. but .. Task Manager shows 16gb DDR5 (2 x 8gb) @ 5200 Lucky Me! You should pull the trigger on this one.

The fan runs really hard when all I'm doing is watching Netflix. I can't have discord and spotify open at the same time without it sounding like it's about to go into meltdown. Ultimately, not worth the price at all. I wouldn't dare game on it. The display also leaves a lot to be desired and the battery life isn't great. Ultimately, if you're unsure, I'd take a pass on this.

We do understand your disappointment with the laptop and your concern about the fan noise runs continuously just watching Netflix. To resolve this, try to check your system, video and performance mode settings inside the most current version of the Armoury Crate utility software posted at: https://www.asus.com/laptops/for-gaming/tuf-gaming/asus-tuf-gaming-f15-2023/helpdesk_download?model2Name=FX507VI. Additionally, check if Windows, drivers, BIOS, applications and games are up to date. Also, the fan noise will be louder while updates are being installed and an antivirus software or malware are running continuously in the background. Please ensure this laptop was not compromised by viruses or malware by doing a full system scan using internet security software or application. When system resource utilization is high, this will generate more heat than normal and tends to trigger the fan to spin at full-throttle and noise will be louder than normal. We have so much fun gaming together! It runs a bit loud with higher level games but that’s completely expected. Honestly fully worth the value.

Its a good laptop, not anything crazy, but definitely worth it when i bought it on sale for 1k. Only thing i have issues with is that it will freeze for a very long time when starting games and sometimes i have to restart my laptop to fix it.
