Got this on sale around 2024 memorial day, for 1100, i7 and 1TB SSD, no brainer. hoping for 32 GB memory but it shows upgradeable. But other than that, it rocks my games at max settings. Backlit K/B is dope. Only draw I feel, its gives up some good heat, power brick gets hot.

This laptop works good as a 1080p medium to high settings but i runs hot very hot. The fans run very loud on turbo or performance. The Cpu would peak at 95c whic is the max and this hurts the cpu and would cause a thermal throttle. Just a note to others that you are not getting the desktop performance of even a 4060.

Laptops needed turning but after that runs really well. Since it doesn’t have a great fan we did end up buying a laptop pad with a fan to keep it cool and from over heating. Very happy with this ourchasey

Colors are great and everything is sharp and clear. Also needed to take over seas and it is set up and ready for the task.

Also, it works with split PC streaming making it very versatile without any lagg. Battery can last quite a bit but that's with some adjustments.

Charging brick may get hot after a while of being plugged in the laptop does get warm but i live in a hot country and i dont have air conditioning its overall a gd laptop.

Did not make it to 4 stars because it could not outperform another 4060 zephyrus I was planning to replace it with. It has good value but I’d recommend for the price point getting a 4060 with a better screen because in my experience performance-wise it did not open any gap from the less powerful GPU variant. Didn’t get to open it but if also it has 2x8GB sticks like I saw mentioned in the comments, it’s worse to upgrade compared to other models that you just need one 16GB stick to achieve the optimal 32GB total.
