ASUS - TUF Gaming VG259QMY 280Hz 24.5” IPS Monitor

The stands that come with these monitors are great and versital but need the room on my desk. These monitors are a 1080P so if you are a gamer and looking for 1440P/4K, look elsewhere, BUT I have played AAA games on these and still a fantastic picture. Clean crisp picture all around. Just fantastic. Don't or should I say never skimp on a good monitor - your eyes depend on it!

Cons: -it is only 1080p. So make sure you're fine with that. -the interface isnt the greatest -the sound quality isn't the best either if you intend to use only that for speakers. Overall I'd buy another one, especially one with a higher resolution.

Needs personalized settings

I really like the shadow boost mode to light up dark parts. Only issue I have is that you can not personalize the settings, you have to choose 1 of 7 modes and only certain modes have the shadow boost mode. If you change certain settings, it will change the mode you are using and can disable things automatically, while you are changing the settings, it gives you the illusion of choice, but it is just changing the mode in the background.

Games are extremely smooth with the 240Hz and I've experienced no ghosting at all. It comes with speakers which are a nice touch, although if you intend to use them seriously, I'd recommend purchasing external ones, as these are pretty cheap. Luckily no dead pixels. If you're debating on whether you should buy it, just go for it. At this price, it's a steal.
