Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This monitor is actually pretty amazing, the 165hz is awesome once you enable it in display settings, and the options to customize different aspects of the display are very useful. That being said, I received the monitor without the base included, it was just the monitor and stand. I contacted ASUS, to see if there was any way they could just ship a base to me, but they said I would need to send them the whole unit, and they could send me another one with it included. I didn't know how long that would take, and had ordered it with the computer I had purchased, and didn't want to wait around for it with a brand new computer just sitting, wasting days included in its warranty. So I told them I would just keep it and make a base for it myself, which worked out fine enough until I could just get a replacement monitor. Also, the paper that was supposed to be on the screen explaining what all it was equipped with: 165hz, 1ms response time, g-sync etc.. was cleared already removed and not in the box. I honestly think I was just shipped someone else's return in a resealed box without the base, because it had clearly been removed and replaced without the base. Its a great monitor, I just wish either Best Buy or ASUS would up their quality control standards a bit so things like this wouldn't happen.

Although a gaming monitor, I use this for my work from home setup and have not been disappointed. The base is very sturdy and the arm connector rotates around if I wanted to mount it. I have an ASUS laptop and they two of them together are easily compatible.
