Overall I can't say I’ve been a long-time PC gamer, roughly 5-6 years. Before that, I was a console gamer. My transition to PC was slow and gradual. What I mean by that is the first gaming PC I built was placed next to the stand that holds consoles. Then I hooked up everything to my existing setup. That said, I was PC gaming on my regular 4K TV in the living room. The biggest difference is that TV’s refresh rate is 120hz vs 144hz on the TUF. These aren’t big number differences and one could argue that the hz on the TV wasn’t actually 120hz. That said, there are subtle differences when playing on each screen. The VG279QR offers great viewing angles and good contrast. No ghosting as far as I can tell. No screen tearing at all. All UFO tests I threw at it were flawless. The stand is sturdy and well built. It slides up and down, tilts forward and back, and can be pivoted into a vertical or horizontal position. With that said, it is a great value FPS gaming monitor.

Great monitor with great graphics and amazing refresh rate, it goes great with my 3060!

I'm using this monitor with my G5 Gaming laptop with GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics and the gameplay display with this monitor is flawless and crisp HD. There are 7 preset GameVisual display options that are easy to get to and cycle through for your preference with the quick launch button on the side of the monitor and then joystick to cycle through. My preference is the Racing Mode for gaming and Cinema Mode for watching TV. Yes, watching TV is a great secondary option on this monitor as with the two HDMI outputs I have my Firestick connected to quickly toggle back and forth between PC and streaming. This monitor does have its own sound, but I would highly recommend connecting your own speakers to get sound that matches the excellent picture. To go along with the versatility of having two HDMI ports, the monitor has adjustable height, angles and can rotate ninety degrees for portrait display. I also find that rotating the monitor makes the ports very accessible. Overall a very nice HD 165Hz refresh monitor that can be used for gaming and streaming at a great price point.

This monitor has lasted me longer than most relationships, not a dent or scratch once from one accidental lob of my headphones.

This monitor is fantastic. Picture quality is very good, although 4K would be preferred, but at this size, it's not a huge loss. Colors look vibrant. But the real star of the show is the refresh rate. It is beautiful. Playing a game at 165hz on this thing is buttery smooth. Overall, this is one of the best gaming monitors you could ask for.

This ASUS is good one to have. Packaged so well and perfect. Very easy to assemble, You can turn it on so quickly. It comes with Display, DVI n HDMI ports and cables. It has head phone jack. You can tilt the screen. Picture quality is good, screen size is good. Refresh rate is good. Buttons/Knobs placements on the screen is good and easily accessible.

My husband loves it! He uses it mostly for gaming, but has commented several times that it’s so great. I’m very happy with the price and fast shipping, too!

Monitor works great, no compromises and feels very snappy. First off, be aware it is only able to use the advertised refresh rate with the included display port cable, not the hdmi. Otherwise it runs at a maximum of 144hz. My only con is that after around 8 or so months, I already see dead pixels on the monitor. I have never run this monitor above 144hz. As far as I know, this is not an issue on the newer versions of this monitor however. Overall: decent monitor however would not recommend over newer models

I would Recommend it it’s a great monitor especially for Console I have it for my PS4 pro and I’ll be trying it on my series S. Will be getting a pc soon and will try it with the monitor it also comes with a hdmi port and a display port the monitor is height adjustable and can rotate 90° and can tilt up and down. It has a great picture i personal like it.

Purchased online as it was a good purchase price for a 27 inch monitor, but its not LED as like it says it is in the specifications. Picked up at the store and got it home, unpacked it and happened to notice the pamplet says LCD. Look at the box, and the only spot that says LCD was on the end that was on the customer service side of the counter when I picked ut up. If i would have seen that at the store i would have left it. Yes I double checked to make sure the model number matched what i purchased. Gave 3 stars becasue its a decent monitor, but will probably return it.
