ASUS Delivers Again
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve never gamed in 280Hz before and this absolutely knocked my socks off. First, you have to manually overclock the monitor using the monitor’s built in button menu. Then you can enable it in your display settings and BUCKLE UP! I am reviewing this with a 1080 gpu and ryzen 5 3600 and am getting phenomenal performance in 1080p at 280hz. First person shooters look incredible and I can detect movement from long distances with the clarity of the screen. Normally I game in 1440p and I’m seriously considering switching back over to 1080p because this monitor looks so incredible. It came out of the box in racing mode which I didn’t love the look of so I changed the settings to FPS, maxed the brightness, and adjusted the color temp to normal. Otherwise it’s a little too dark. With the right settings, the color palettes are gorgeous. I highly recommend this monitor.
