Great laptop. I use it for AutoCAD, Revit, and occasional gaming when I'm not at home. System specs allows AutoCAD and Revit to run smoothly. I consistently have over 144 frames while I'm playing games also. USB-C Thunderbolt port allows me to dock my laptop and connect a mouse, keyboard, and external display easily by connecting one plug to the laptop.

fan gets loud, the battery heats up too quickly to enjoy a few rounds gaming of Apex Legends. it was nice computer just not what I expected great decide for on the go quick things you can’t do on an ipad constantly 5-6 hours of battery if used and not actually turned off

Being a serious gamer, it becomes inconvenient when I have to travel, without access to my desktop. This is a perfect alternative. Previous gaming laptops I owned were too bulky to comfortably carry around, and often did not fit into my compact backpack. This one is a gamechanger, it's small and light enough. At the same time, RTX 3060 is perfect for 1080p gaming at high settings. Only drawback is the absence of a webcam which stops me from using it for my day to day zoom calls. Otherwise very happy with my purchase!

I'll get the cons/negatives out of the way before diving into what's great about this laptop. The speakers are awful, but so are just about every other non-Apple laptops' speakers -- so as long as you have headphones or external speakers, then you can probably forgive the terrible sound on these. The trackpad is plastic and not very good -- it's a notch above MSI's trackpads, but will have you reaching for an external mouse after an hour or two of use. If you already use an external mouse - then this won't be a big deal to you. Now for what's great. You're getting all the latest bells and whistles for a reasonable price. Thunderbolt 4, 3200mhz ram, RTX 3070, NVMe SSD, 144mhz matte display, 11th Gen Intel processor, and WiFi 6. This laptop will be able to handle both productivity and gaming for the foreseeable future. The keyboard deck is spacious and well laid out, but I wish it was RGB so I could pick a color doesn't doesn't look like a blueberry slurpee. The WASD keys are clear and the arrow keys have plenty of room to avoid hitting other keys while playing. I'm able to play Call of Duty Cold War on ultra settings without overheating/slowdown, but it gets too hot to keep on your lap while playing. If you're a road warrior or often game on the go -- this laptop won't disappoint. While the screen doesn't hold a candle to OLED, this 144mhz screen is still bright and crisp. You'll appreciate the matte display even when not playing games. Battery life is excellent and ASUS' preloaded software allows you to configure and monitor various power settings. The chassis is plastic and a fingerprint magnet, but it could pass for aluminum/magnesium from afar. I assume they had to compromise on the quality of the materials used in order to keep the price low. Despite the cheap materials - the laptop looks sleek and stylish. It also only weighs 4.41 pounds. You'd be hard-pressed to find another laptop with these specs in this price range. If you're looking for monster performance on a budget - the ASUS TUF series is a worthy contender. If you want premium materials -- then be prepared to pay 2.5x-3x more.

So this laptop is a beast among laptops. It is vr ready but you may have to get an external harddrive like i did. Also know that it is quite loud- you can hear the fans and sounds as though a spaceship was flying around lol. Other than that id say its a great ganing laptop!

Ok product. Not good as a gaming computer. Had to have many repairs within a short time.

it's an amazing laptop for professional gamers and you can play wherever you go its connectivity is amazing like its keyboard, i used the joystick, to create 4k videos it was great

Pros: Works great! Battery life is adequate. I play a lot of Civ V online and have no problems. All in all it is decent computer for the sale price of $998.00. Cons: I wish it had a touch screen

I absolutly love this laptop. I'm an animation student and I'm using it for work on the road. It runs software such as Blender and Unreal perfectly. I love the fact that I can add a bigger SSD and upgrade some of the ram. The fans are pretty quiet as well. Only issue I have is battery life could be better. Running any type of software just eats through the battery.

So far so good. We purchased this laptop for our son who is majoring in engineering. He needs a laptop that is fast and can run multiple programs at the same time. Got a great deal and purchased the Geek Squad warranty. It’s a solid laptop and a great brand.

Great laptop with great specs. Runs my games and work very easily. unbeatable price. Biggest concerns/gripes.... CPU/GPU is running up to 90 degrees - and I'm very worried about this. Cooling is not great but due to its slim design I expected this. Very loud cooling fans. Get a cooling pad. No number pad.

Runs fast, cool, and games pretty good. It mines really good as well.

Good laptop for the price, I would like to have a six core processor and two slot for RAM expansion, I am using this laptop for some games and virtual machines, it is working pretty good, I add a 1tb SSD and a 16gb RAM card, with a total of 1.5tb and 24gb of RAM, I have not tried latest games but it seems that they will run smoothly.

This gaming laptop was pretty much everything I wanted and more. After looking at quite a few different laptops at this price range I chose this one for a few reasons. 1) it has very good build quality. Ives used tuf laptops before and they have lasted a long time without any problems because of their sturdy build quality. This one does not disappoint it has an aluminum lid with nice smooth and sturdy plastic chassis. It is very light and thin. 2) it has very good gaming performance the 4 core cpu might throw off some people but don’t be deceived , it has extraordinary single core performance and works very good in all games I’ve tried, while it may slightly bottleneck a gpu like the 3070 it works great with the 3060. Combined with the Lower power spec of the cpu and large battery the computer can easily last 8-9 hours with web surfing and video playback. Last thing to mention is that the laptop stays very cool. While gaming on max settings in most games I stayed within the 60-70 degree range while most gaming laptops will got above 80-90. So all together the great performance, battery life, build , and cooling make this a steal at the price.

I have the laptop for three months now, and it is still performing as good as the first day I got it. The only complaint is the constant updates no thanks to Windows 10. I like to manual updates instead of automatic so can't really blame it on the computer. Still a good buy for me!
