Great laptop, terrible battery

I did as the manual said and charged it for 3 hours, 4 even, before turning it on and without even doing anything on the laptop, the battery drains pretty fast even on the most extreme power saving mode. Not sure I could even game at all on it with how fast it drains.

Love how you can change the fan speed when it gets hot. When not gaming, it don't get hot enough to burn so that's a plus. Battery life is pretty good when you're just web browsing. Have not tested to see if it'll last the whole 9 hours yet. Super glad you can upgrade the SSD later one and the RAM. I'm going to do that when I can find a 2T SSD for a decent price. The display is a bit dim compared to others but I'm not bothered by it

My first computer and I’m NOT DISAPPOINTED!!!!

I’ve never experienced such a high frame rate! plugged in you can have turbo mode on it gets hot, but can run more powerful. The ssd is lighting quick like the ps5. it’s super THIN for a gaming laptop with this much power. people say “it only has for 4 cores” but I haven’t noticed this laptop struggling. it’s sleek which won’t make you look like a try hard. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LAPTOP!!

Asus Tuf Dash 3060 vs 3070

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the asus tuf 3060 and 3070 versions to compare them because I planned to keep one of them period. The asus tuf 3070 performs barely 10% better than the 3060 version. Although the 3070 version does run significantly cooler at about 68 celsius in a gaming load vs the 3060 version which will bounce between 70-80. Turn on accelerated gpu scheduling in graphics settings in windows and you will not see a cpu bottleneck in most games either. I have seen thermal throttling on the asus tuf dash 3060 for the cpu, I haven't seen this in the 3070 version as bad. If you are chosing one of these laptops, I would go with 3070 version, as it runs cooler, and therefore it will most likely last longer. Even with this being the case this 3070 laptop performs at roughly half the capabilities of a desktop 3070. I will most likely be returning both the laptops I bought, because I finally was able to get a prebuilt desktop with a 3070 for a reasonable price, however this laptop is really awesome for the price, so if you need something like this it is an awesome deal.

I don't like that they don't update windows and drivers (including bios). But maybe they think it's not new if they do. The fans stopped working at first and I updated it. I think they stopped again. Idk if it overheated, it never shut down. I would have kept it, if my best buy credit card would have covered it. I used progressing leasing, then returned it.
