    Initially enjoyed this machine until recently I’ve started experiencing what seems to be cool whine that is unbearable while playing games and this as well as not being able to power the laptop back on without a factory reset didn’t surface until after my return period ended so I’m going to have to pay extra to have these things hopefully fixed, disappointed with how much this already costs.

    I'm supposed to pay Geeks for this mess?

    Computer Battery never charged past 59%. Return was not an option since I'd had it more than 14 days, I thought it was 30. Geeks returned it to the factory. Factory sent it back to me a week later but had the wrong address from the Geeks. So back to the factory where its now sat for a week. 90 minutes now on the phone trying to get this corrected.

    I guess it’s a laptop so can’t expect much, ran for a year and decided to break 5 days after warranty….

    “Geek squad” is absolutely useless

    They sold me an open box laptop which was supposedly “certified” by their so called geek squad. Turns out they didn’t do anything at all and just resold it to me. Had to waste my time waiting to return the laptop as well. No complimentary discount or anything in return for their mistake. Not buying from this store again.

    Laptop overheats and shuts down after 10-15 minutes, even when I have no applications running. This is a NEW laptop. Unfortunately, I procrastinated in opening the box, so now I can't even return it. $1000 down the freaking drain.

    Horrible don’t buy any of the Tuf laptops right now they don’t say what type of gpu it is, it is pretty much the worst 3000 series you can get very low wattage and also the cpu is a 4 core so none of my games hit 60 FPS and if it did it wasn’t the best at all and very loud

    Got this laptop being a big fan of Asus, using them almost exclusively in my builds. But it pains me to say, Horrible laptop. The QC is seriously lacking here. BSOD right off the bat. The drivers are buggy and not fleshed out. The laptop kept switching from Performance to Silent mode 5 times in a row on boot up for some reason. Next, I have Wi-Fi 6 and this card could not pull over 50mbps.... Next, it says its easy to upgrade but the m.2 screw was extremely low quality and screwed in with the force of GOD himself, like nothing would get this thing out. It stripped after one try, and then even after using advanced tools no go. **Note** I have extensive building and repair experience, I assure this is not user error, as I've never stripped a screw in a build, ever. The specs look really good on paper but sadly this thing is severely lacking.

      All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections, this is a random problem. Normally, ASUS provides one year warranty coverage, if product was purchased brand-new, in order to fix or repair any hardware or, part that stop working prematurely under normal usage.



      The blue screen of death is possibly just a system glitch that can be resolved by doing a power cycle. After successfully going to the Home screen successfully, please update Windows. For the screws, you can purchase this from third-party computer Superstore since these screws are common parts. If you think these are factory defect, please send the laptop in for warranty service.
