Customers regard the TUF DASH 15.6" Gaming Laptop favorably for its performance, SSD speed, and battery life, frequently praising its build quality and value for the price. However, some users noted that the fan can be loud and the device may overheat during intensive use, while the lack of a webcam was also a common complaint. The relatively small storage capacity was another point of concern for some customers.

1 hour battery life playing AOE3 DE

The battery life is a joke. I read a few reviews that claimed this laptop had some of the best battery life ever. Out of the box, without doing anything, I installed steam, downloaded age of empires 3 de, then fully charged the laptop. The battery lasted ONE hour playing this game!!!! I then charged it and set it to use the integrated graphics card, the refresh rate to 60hz, and anything else I could find to improve battery life. 2 hours, 30 minutes!!! If this is ground breaking battery life performance, what is the point of even having a gaming laptop I wonder? If you can only game for 2 1/2 hours at the most, why not just get an alienware m4 laptop that requires plugging in? My understanding was that they limited the 3060 to 80w in order to make it more power efficient. And yet this is the best performance I get using an integrated graphics card and a game that doesn’t require the toughest specs? I’m returning it and getting a macbook air m1, which has a 15 hour battery life, or a 6-8 hour battery life when running games under rosetta 2. Honestly these pc gaming laptops are a JOKE. The m1 has superior build quality, trackpad, battery life, everything, and it costs less than this. Oh and by the way it lost power during a copy operation and I had to hold down the power button to get it to shut off. It seems to not be able to resume well from standby.
