Amazing Gaming Machine For the Price
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this laptop as a gaming machine and as a school computer. The cons are the lack of a camera which was bad during zoom class meetings, but since we are back in person this is no longer an issue. Gaming wise this laptop was able to run current games at high fps. I was able to play cold war, gta, apex, and cyberpunk with no issues and very smoothly. The laptop does get loud which is expected but not loud enough where people around me would complain, I used this laptop both as a desktop and portable laptop so I recommend buying another charging brick If you want to have a stationary gaming station as well as one on the go.

Very powerful laptop for the money.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very powerful laptop for the money. RTX card shines in games with raytracing and DLSS. Cyberpunk2077 can run on ultra with raytracing and DLSS at ~40-50fps in every part of the city. Older games have no problems. CPU, GPU, and ram combination have no problem with 4k-8k image editing or when 3D rendering. The SSD is small and limiting, the ideal setup would be a 1tb drive out the box at this pricepoint/CPU-GPU, but it has USB ports on both sides to use portable drives. Heat and fan noise has been manageable, acceptable during protracted gaming and unnoticeable during general use. Never gets too hot to touch. As a workstation and foray into a computer with an Nvidia RTX card it's the logical choice until you get to almost double the price.

Good value for the price
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are looking for a laptop to run games on and not break the bank, this is the setup for you. Have had it for a few weeks now and have played over 8 style games on it with no issues. Battery life could be a bit better, as I'll get about 1.5 hours of life out of it without it plugged in (PGA 2k21 / COD). Only gave it a 4 star because of battery life and how loud the fan is when it kicks on (which is every time it is charging and playing at the same time) even though I have it on a cooling pad

Gamers: Beware the i7-11370H CPU
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Full disclosure: I returned this product without opening it based on the limitations of the CPU others have outlined in system benchmarks. My current gaming laptop is still chugging along at 7 years old so I was excited to see next gen (RTX 3000 and Intel 11000) was available for the laptops I was looking at. I preordered in February without giving much though other than the components were ~new~. I was excited as I waited for my laptop to ship early March so I joined forums on gaming laptops to follow the buzz. I really did not know much about laptop tech before going into this, but I’ve learned a lot along the way. One of the things I learned is that the 11370H in the Dash is a quad core CPU which is going the way of the Dino in terms of gaming performance. It’s an exceptional quad core but as blockbuster games continue to utilize more cores, this will really limit the types of games you can play. Also the graphics card is set to a lower power limit and can only boost to a max of 85w (more power=more performance). I thought this would be an okay combo with this 4 core, but even the higher tier RTX 3070 is underperforming last gen laptops when paired with this processor. Granted this processor provides benefits in other areas (better battery life, thunderbolt 4) but from a pure gaming laptop perspective (how this was marketed) I cannot recommend it. Could be the right machine for a person who wants some balance of gaming and ultrabook, but not a good match for me.

Portable laptop for a student or professional
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good for the gamer who also needs a work or school laptop. Pros: Fast processor and discrete GPU allow you to play most games on Medium or High settings. It does get hot so I recommend a cooling fan underneath to keep the heat down. I also use this computer to do 3D modeling using Fusion 360 and slicing model files for 3D printing. It quite literally can handle most everything I can throw at it. The SSD allows for fast boot up times and the battery lasts for several hours off charger as long as you make sure to setup the Armory Crate to switch off the discrete GPU on battery. And it's light enough to fit into my backpack to take to school or meetings. Cons: 512 GB SSD gets full fast with modern game sizes. I had to purchase an external drive to keep my games and extra STL files. It can get kind of confusing at times with installations and I have to make sure to bring that external drive with me if I want to play games on the go. The track pad is not my favorite but I have yet to find one I like on any computer. The computer does not feature an SD card slot so you will need to purchase a USB SD card reader. Unknowns USB C charging: it has a USB-C port on the side and I use it connect at USB Port Extender that connects to my second monitor as well reading SD cards. It supposedly can also charge via the USB-C port but I do not have a powerful enough charger to test it and honestly don't have much reason to.

No camera, which is a oversight. Eventhen, still an amazing deal and thin profile, would recommend if you are ok with not having a Webcam of course.

Great for the $
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for an entry level gaming laptop and this has checked most of the boxes especially considering the price. The 3060 is working great (have only played MSFS 2020, valheim, SW Squadrons so far) producing smooth graphics. I understand this is a low power 3060 and I’m willing to make the sacrifice for the portability and price. The 512 GB SSD and 16GB are adequate and speedy enough. I believe one slot of RAM is upgradable. I guess the new 11th gen CPU is only 4 cores so if may have trouble down the road with games that utilize this. Overall for $1100 I’m willing to make some small sacrifices on storage/GPU while still being able to enjoy modern games.

Do not buy
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The computer overheats all the time from day one. You can’t have it plugged in and playing a game at the same time or it gets so hot it turns off. Definitely not a gaming computer. I can’t even put Roblox on without it overheating and that’s not even a major game.
