This is a great gaming monitor for the price. I bought it to replace a 2 year old 24" Gigabyte gaming monitor that started going bad and this monitor exceeded my expectations. The colors are vibrant and crisp, it has all of the little luxuries for gaming such as crosshair, stop watch, etc. It does come with a 2 watt speaker built in, which obviously shouldn't be expected to be some kind of THX monster it's more comparable to a cheap set of Five Below speakers, but it actually helps me a lot since my PS5's audio tends to lag and drop from time to time (issue with my mixing board) and it keeps the immersion going somewhat during gaming sessions. Besides gaming I use it as a second monitor for music, graphic and video production, which it has been perfect for. The old monitor is now used for keeping an eye on OBS when streaming. The stand it comes with is very low profile and not bulky at all, compared to my old monitor's stand which took up a considerable amount of desk space. It has multiple buttons on the right side of the back; power, quick select for settings, and the menu toggle stick, these are all conveniently placed and not difficult to reach at all. (Old monitor was a pain due to placement of the menu toggle stick) Overall this is a great deal for a budget monitor! I'll definitely buy another when my now third monitor finally completely goes kaput.

Overall a decent monitor. Not too big and not too small only issue i have with it is thay when i do move it i accidentally hit the buttons on the side which is just a minor inconvenience. The refresh rate is really crisp for games like tarkov or call of duty

The quality of these monitors is great for the price. I bought 2 of these when they were on sale and the picture looks great, the built in speakers are decent however i am looking into something of a better sound quality but for built in speakers they work good.

Overall it’s a pretty good monitor. Nice display, 180hz and performs pretty well. Only downside is that the stand it comes with can’t move the monitor up and down.

Honestly this monitor is really good i bought it for my Xbox series x it runs games at 120 fps at 1080 and looks stunning (only 120 fps games) but yea id say this is perfect for the series x unless you want 60 fps at 4k you’d need a 4k one but honestly id just get a 4k tv instead of this, with that being said this is perfect for your 120 fps games.

works good so far. the sound that comes from the monitor is a bit low, and its a little thicker than my MSI 244PF monitor. if thickness matters. but quality is durable and decent price

I recently purchased the ASUS 180Hz monitor, and I have to say, it’s an absolute game-changer. Asus Tuf gaming: IPS gaming monitor, is a good beginner monitor you can buy is only 23.8” inc I think this monitor is perfect for kids who wants to play fortnite or Minecraft, someone who doesn’t need a 32”inc gaming monitor I have bought and tried Asus Tuf gaming monitor for many times, one thing I notice about that that they don’t seem to evolve change for the better. they kinda stuck to what they got and just keep releasing the same monitor features and repackage them for the new years. monitor claims it’s 180hz , it’s IPS with 1ms response time. also have 99% for sRGB, and it’s support freesync I still own the 4k version of this monitor but honestly for the price of $179 these monitor are quite disappointing. i’ve seen a much better IPS than this 1080p 23.8” monitor they got here. one cool thing i’m glad they continue to do was keeping the speakers, they are not the best but they also there for you to use which is always a plus. but overall experience you wouldn’t want to take off echo mode to get most of the settings active. playing video games is fine. but it looks like more washed out than most IPS I used to own. after changing the advance settings on my PC. this monitor was only showing 160hz using display port. even changing from nvidia graphics settings it only shows 160hz. you would prob need to overclock the monitor to get the full 180hz, which what I fully disagree with. why display something when you can’t activate it right away. games looks alright it’s missing a lot of vibrant colors im used to. but like I said I would give this to my kid. not something as a competitive gamer like myself would prob me fully into. no power brick since it’s a small monitor, it a great monitor for travel or install it inside your RV while on vacation. it has 2 HDMI and 1 DP. it’s light weight. you can’t adjust the height, but can be tilted to up and down. I think Asus need to remake their Tuf lineup it’s starting to show its change, more monitor competition out there and by just having the name it doesn’t carry the respect I use to have with these monitor.

Great product! Easy to understand menu, with up to a 180hz refresh rate and great colors. No ghosting issues, and after a month it has still been serving me well! I also appreciate the services that ASUS supplies with all of their products.

looks & works great. only gripes are wish the stand was circular like other asus monitors & speakers could be louder

I wasn’t sure what to expect from a gaming monitor at this price point, but I’ve been very impressed. I use it with an Xbox Series X (upgraded from a 780p TV), and the difference is night and day—sharper visuals, vibrant colors, and a huge reduction in motion blur. There are plenty of settings to fine-tune the display, and while the interface takes a minute to learn, it quickly feels intuitive. I also appreciate the variety of ports and the bonus of built-in speakers. The speakers are just “okay,” but still a nice convenience when you don’t want to hook up an external setup. In fact, I liked it enough to buy a second one for a family member. For casual gaming, this monitor delivers excellent value and performance—easily one of the best bang-for-your-buck purchases I’ve made.

I bought this monitor for my daughter for Christmas (2024). She's had it for over a year and loves it! She is using it for gaming and watching streaming apps. Picture is clear & crisp, and she has not had any issues with it. A great buy from Best Buy!

I bought this last month and it’s my first ever monitor and in my opinion it is the best budget monitor for the price I been playing on the ps5 and it runs a smooth 120fps it’s very easy to set up but the only downside is that you can’t really move it it has a little range of movement but other than that I really like this monitor I would recommend this to anyone that wants a good budget monitor for sure.

Easiest setup when connecting to your PC or Laptop as a secondary screen, Functions including different modes such as Movie, Gaming etc.. is very helpful when it comes to watching shows or simply playing a game.. and the FPS counter is very convenient to have! Definitely a worthy purchase if you’re looking for a very effective yet affordable monitor without breaking the bank.

I'm happy to see that the website specifications for this monitor have been fixed to show that the stand height is NOT adjustable. Even though the stand height doesn't adjust, I kept this monitor because it's a good price for a nice monitor. I use it for Sims 4 at the highest display settings and everything looks crisp. I can't speak to how it'd be with more intense games. (I do still wish the stand height was adjustable though -- which is why I'm dropping 1 star for features.)

Excellent monitor for gaming. It's a little bit too large of a display for my eyes as I'm in the small percentage of people that need a smaller display size rather than larger. I have to sit/stand about 10 feet away to see it comfortably but then again it's due to my vision being opposite of most. It's a great display for most people.

Works great and has a lot of additional features like crosshairs that make it nice to use. I do have a problem where the refresh rate reset back to 60hz randomly but that could just be a windows settings issue and has only happened a couple times in two years.
