As soon as I started playing on this monitor, I was blown away. The screen quality is amazing, the response time is perfect. One thing that really caught my attention was the brightness and color accuracy. As someone who just switched from a 60hz older generation monitor, im glad I chose this one because it wont be going anywhere anytime soon

Ok so this was my first time buying a monitor. I got the 27” Tuf gaming asus vg279q1a. I also just bought a PS5 to play on it. I was super nervous i wouldn’t be able to get 120hz on my monitor.. But i can easily no problem!! Who ever says you cant is honestly just flat wrong. You have to turn on the 120hz on your PS5 settings, along with your game settings. Some games just dont support 120hz so you could run in to that problem. But this monitor is well worth every penny. The picture is stunning on this thing. It also has speakers, they arent top notch but most monitors dont come with any so this was a plus for me. So anybody who is skeptical or scared to get this DONT BE. YOU GET 120HZ AND IT WORKS PERFECTLY!! Hope this helps someone bc it would have helped me

My son loves it and uses with his gaming computer.

Decent size, great visuals and graphics, portable and stable, and amazing quality of life features. The menus can be complicated, but it’s pretty great at a good price.

I love and a big fan of ASUS motherboards and gaming monitor and the beauty. I have no idea what the hype about a bad reviews on this monitor. People don’t understand on how to work things or figure them out and it’s a shame. I would give the manufacture, 10 stars but it won’t let me

I absolutely love this monitor. I does wonders for me. The 27 inch screen display allows me to fully view the game that I play. Along with the 165 hz refresh rate, where there is zero delay. 10/10 monitor and I would recommend it to anyone

Absolute, top notch for 1080p gaming. Easy set up, and ready to play. The only downside i have found are the legs are a bit limiting on where you can place them.

I bought this monitor last Saturday to replace my 15 year old Asus monitor. Never a problem with the old one and it saw use as my main monitor up until the pandemic and I needed something bigger to work from home. Being my secondary monitor it went these last three years well. It finally gave up while I was working. RIP old buddy. I got this new one home and set up just fine and I was enjoying another good Asus product. Around one hour in a 'bright pixel' appeared smack dab in the middle of the screen - red. No way to unsee it. I was so disappointed (and angry/frustrated etc). $230 to last only one hour with nothing wrong. Manufacturers say three or less is not a defect. I beg to differ when you look at it for your workday and then gaming. Thankfully, I was well within Best Buys return window. Their customer service was excellent when I returned it Wednesday (5 stars for Best Buy). Now I have to look for something else. Not happy. It might be a good monitor overall but I didn't have the best experience with this particular one.

Well worth the money spent on it.. Works very smooth no problems with it at all.
