Excellent laptop for the price I paid ($750)

Battery life is decent when gaming, excellent with normal activities. The customization with the fans is quick and easy to help with balancing noise/performance. Easy to upgrade too, I threw in 32gb set of ram and an additional NVME drive a few months later when I caught both on sale and in total took 15min.

Worth money & Easy cheap upgrades

Use external monitors you are rocking it in style Rest great run quite on none game modes, can get very hot quickly max video GPU & CPU settings

Good laptop, bad battery

I stick to consoles for games like Skyrim, Witcher, etc., and got this mostly for things like Sims or other games I can play while watching TV. So, I can't really speak to how great it is when running bigger games. So far, it runs great with what I'm playing. I love that I can customize the keyboard color and pattern. I also haven't had any issues with it getting too hot, even for longer game plays (I have not invested in a cooling mat, and don't really think I will need to). The downside is that the battery sucks. I typically have an hour or less before it goes from full charge to almost dead, even running smaller games, so I end up playing with the charger plugged in most of the time, which is a pain.

DDR5 laptop memory is cheap so getting a second 8gb stick is a no brainer!
