Great for all gaming needs
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this for gaming and it is above and beyond my expectations in terms of graphics and speed. Sometimes when I turn it on, the screen stays black and I have to hard restart but that is my only issue.

Great bang for the buck!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good battery life and games run well at just over 1080p with high to ultra detail settings. It was about 200 dollars less at Best Buy than a competitor who was advertising that it was a prime time to buy a laptop. Best Buy then had a sale about a week after I got it and they honored their own price match so I saved another 200+. It ended up costing me 899 before tax so the money I saved bought me 2 16GB sticks of memory to replace the 8's it came with and also bought me a spare charger to leave on my desk. I was happy with the computer at $1099 but at $899 it's a steal. The only thing I could ask for was 1440p resolution, but it's still 1920x1200 and not 1920x1080. The 16:10 aspect ratio is nice for a little more screen real estate.

TUF value to beat
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I chose this laptop over more expensive options because of how well it balances power and efficiency for the price. AMD advantage smart access graphics are great, automatically activating the gpu and mux for games and turning off/slowing down for minor tasks to save power. Set and forget it with exemplary battery life lasting about 10 hours youtube. And as an option more battery life can be achieved by completely disabling the dgpu and smart graphics (requires reboot). Fans are quiet maxing out around 48 decibels. My biggest complaint is the screen only being 300 nits.

Phenomenal gaming laptop at a great price!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These computers are powerful enough to handle any game my sons have thrown at it, with some very impreasive frame rates to boot! Perfect for probiding affordable access to open-source creative software like Blender (3D Modeling), Adobe Substance 3D suite (which qualified students can access and learn for free! Even grade, middle, and high-school students!), or game engones like Unity, Unreal, or Godot. This machine is powerful and well built, by one of the top names in gaming laptops. If you are on the fence, go for it (doubly so if you find it on sale!)

Best 750$ laptop
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would like to share my experiences after approximately 2 weeks of intensive use. First of all, the keyboard is really good. It is incredibly quiet and feels nice. I really liked the gaming performance. During games, the fans run very quietly and the laptop heats up very little. What I don't like is that the screen brightness is too high even at the lowest level. I have been using the laptop at the lowest brightness level for 2 weeks and I would be lying if I said that it does not hurt my eyes in the nights. Other than that, it is a very nice laptop, it has absolutely no rival in the 750 dollar range.

Solid laptop pick up
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really solid laptop for productivity and gaming. I'd get an SSD to help with the small size of the 512gb ssd the OS is on. Maybe 1 or 2TB SSD would help alot. Performs well in all the games I threw at it.

No regrets
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a good computer, my son loves it, it's really fast and the graphics look great (better than the PlayStation 5), I even went to the store to look at other options where a gentleman name Lucas I believe was so so so helpful and nice and spent the time to explain that for the money this was hands down one of the best computers I could get, we are satisfied with this computer and we are committed and love Best Buy and their customer service, so far we have purchased all of our computers from them and don't regret it at all.

Worth every penny!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great gaming laptop! When it's on sale it's a particularly great deal. The screen is crisp, and the colors appear accurate. The graphics card runs all the games I play at 1080p with no issues (great detail and frame rate). The AMD Radeon RX 7600S graphics card features 8 GB of fast GDDR6 graphics memory connected with a 128 Bit memory bus. The chip also includes 32 MB Infinity Cache. The system includes 16BG DDR memory which is adequate enough to run every game I have played on it so far. The only thing I did upgrade was the hard drive. 500GB was just not enough to store all the games I had in my library that I frequently play. Note: when upgrading the hard drive, it's a PCIe which is about the size of stick of gum, and in the case of this computer, can be a little tricky to find on the motherboard (its next to the RAM ports, under a heat shield wrap). Also, I should note there is no hard drive/RAM doors for easy upgrade access, the whole bottom of the laptop has to come off to access those items. Before installing a new hard drive be sure to create of restore copy of Windows 11 onto a thumb drive (16GB minimum) (it comes preinstalled with Windows 11 Home, if you want Windows PRO its $99 to upgrade on the Windows store). Most of the preloaded software can be easily removed or turned off at startup, except for the ASUS "Armoury Crate" which is used to control fan speed, keyboarding lights, etc.. Speaking of the keyboard lighting, I can't seem to figure out how to get the keyboard lights to stop strobing when the computer is in idle. The lighted keys are nice for typing in low light, but the flashing light is distracting when I am working, it appears you can only turn the keyboard lights off completely or on with the strobing effect on idle. The Power adapter is also somewhat awkwardly placed as it's in the center of the left side of the laptop to make room for a heat vent on the top left side of the frame. This laptop has 6 vents, which does well to dispel heat when I'm playing a game. Overall, well worth the purchase if you don't want to spend over a thousand dollars for a new gaming laptop.

Excellent Value for the Money - 2x DDR5 Ram Notes
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mine came with two 8GB sticks of DDR5 Ram. So when upgrading to 32 GB. I had to buy 2 new sticks of 16 GB DDR5 Ram. After upgrading to 32 GB Ram it feels like I am using a $1,200 desktop. Has worked flawlessly on Fallout 3, New Vegas, and Black Ops 3 custom zombies. For modern games like COD Warzone, I would recommend attaching a keyboard because the laptop keyboard gets hot.

I love this gaming laptop.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is gorgeous, I love the way it looks physically, the laptop is very fast, and the 16:10 screen is gorgeous, colors are great when playing games or watching videos. all the games I played surpassed my expectations using this laptop. I researched this laptop a lot before buying it and I knew that this one was the right laptop for me. With a good amount of RAM and storage, there is room to expand the storage if needed. I recommend this gaming laptop to everyone. The laptop is good value for the money.

Power at Your Fingertips
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased open-box on a Black Friday deal, and what a steal! This thing is powerful and fast! I’m a big gamer, and after some tinkering and uninstalling unnecessary software and installing others, have this working flawlessly on high settings with most every game I throw at it. The RAM it ships with works perfectly so far, but is also upgradeable if need be. There’s also an open SSD slot for even further upgrading. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase and have recommended this to all my family and friends!

ASUS TUF A16 7735HS (FA617NS)
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far very pleased with this laptop overall, great battery life. It's not without it's faults though, some programs that crash apparently due to some problems or history with the firmware and radeon drivers. The asus software is helpful with the battery life but ads to the bloat of windows also. This is obviously not as powerful obviously as high end units but for well under $1000 pretty good deal especially if you have other non gaming use cases

Incredible value
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was lucky to have snagged this laptop for dirt cheap during the month of their Black Friday deals last year and with no sales tax (thank you Oregon). Performance of the laptop is great, the fans are quiet and laptop remains cool even when gaming. Build quality is nice and the screen is gorgeous. I wish the battery life was better, especially when gaming but I think every laptop has this issue.
