This laptop crashes each time I launch my game at start up and I’m just playing The Sims 4. I’m disappointed, but this will be my last purchase from Best Buy because at this point I’m convinced they are selling the scraps from manufacturers. I had to replace the same laptop because the mouse pad was getting stuck after only a few days. Now this one has crashing issues and the pixel issues in the middle of the screen. I’m sure the manufacturer will reply with drivers need to be updated, but the product is just not that great. It should be priced at $999

Smooth gameplay on WOW I tuna good FPS consistency with this laptop and havnt noticed any major drops and the color and visuals are bright.

It works great. There was a bug that had the screen turning off constantly. This was due to a magsafe magnet I had on my phone case that for some reason when placed to the left of the touchpad will cause the screen to go static and turn off. This was so annoying before I discovered this, so I'd suggest just to be safe keep MAGNETS away from the device.

So it doesn’t really notice when you are gaming, or editing, or running VMs, or all three simultaneously — it just shrugs and shrugs. Laptop GPU The RTX 5070: A beast in its own right You’ll achieve stellar performance in titles such as Cyberpunk 2077, Warzone and Baldur’s Gate 3, especially at 1080p+ where this GPU truly shines. Ray tracing? Yeah, it’ll do it — and DLSS helps maintain a smooth action even when you crank the settings to “Stupid High.” 🖥️ Display The FHD+ 165Hz 16” panel is a good sweet spot as well. It’s not 4K (I’m fine with that for games), but it’s crisp, sharp and buttery smooth. 165Hz also spells a merciful break for your eyeballs, particularly in fast-paced shooters. No ghosting, no jank — just crisp frames. The brightness is decent, the colors are good (not pro-caliber accurate, but good enough unless you’re grading film in DaVinci Resolve). If you want high-end performance without taking an ax to your wallet, this is one of the shrewder choices in 2025. Would I recommend it to a gamer or a worker who wants one laptop to rule them all? 100% yes. Especially if you're a fan of that no-nonsense, gunmetal aesthetic.
