Amazing performance and great value!
The ASUS TUF Gaming A16 has been incredible so far. The Ryzen 9, 32GB RAM, and RTX 5070 make everything super fast — from gaming to multitasking. The 165Hz screen looks smooth and vibrant, and the cooling keeps the laptop running great even during long sessions. Solid build, sleek design, and excellent storage with the 1TB SSD. Overall, a powerful and reliable laptop that’s absolutely worth it.

This gaming Laptop is amazing. I've had it for 2 full months now so I bought it early August. It has an extremely fast CPU: Ryzen 9 270. The 5070 (8GB Video Ram) GPU is super nice. The 32gb ram is so awesome to have and upgradable to 64gb ram. You can add another 1 TB if you wanted too as well for the future. So the ability to upgrade is crazy cool. The Keyboard is beautiful and strong as well. The screen is a great size and the display is beautiful. No need to get 4k. It has a 2k resolution. But I'd rather have a resolution like that with a higher fps than a 4k with low fps. The video camera also looks great. The charger is super fast. The computer runs like a charm.
I have played Battlefield 6 with high and touching ultra settings on here while maintaining a decent fps (60ish fps at ultra). I'm able to play Age of empires 4 and Marvel's Spider man 1 remastered with maxed settings. And of course it runs the older games beautifully with maxed settings: Halo MCC, Mass effect Legendary trilogy, & Star Wars Battlefront 2. I am sure this laptop will last a couple more years with the upcoming AAA games.
I love almost everything about the laptop. The only con I'd say, which is almost not worth mentioning is the fan sounds do get loud at times. But the laptop stays cool and when the fans do get loud it doesn't stay loud for a long time. They get loud for probably around 3ish minutes (max) at a time even when I'm not maxing out the GPU or CPU.
But it's not all the time they get loud either. It seems to me, it occurs when I have it on silent mode and the laptop is trying to do a hard task at the same time like a big download or something. I think after setting it to performance mode at most times, the fans rarely get loud with harder tasks. But they're multiple settings on how you can run the fans through Asus's app: Armoury Crate.
Here is the exact price I bought this Gaming laptop for. I had it shipped to me by BestBuy.
Product Price:
$1,349.99
Sales Tax, Fees & Surcharges:
$84.04
Shipping: $0.00
Item Total:
$1,434.03
I wouldn't buy this laptop at full price. Because I know how expensive gaming laptops already are and gamers could buy a gaming PC for a lot less for more.
I do wish the laptop had 12 GB of VRAM so it would last longer with the upcoming AAA games but at the price point it's at, with it on sale, I'd say it's absolutely totally worth it.
So I would totally recommend this awesome and stunning gaming laptop but not at it's original price point.

The ASUS TUF Gaming A16 with the AMD Ryzen 9, 32GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070, and 1TB SSD in Jaegar Gray is an absolute powerhouse that delivers an outstanding gaming and productivity experience. Here's why it deserves a top-tier review:
Unrivaled Performance for Gaming and Beyond
This laptop is a true beast. The AMD Ryzen 9 processor combined with a generous 32GB of RAM ensures that multitasking is seamless, and demanding applications run without a hitch. For gaming, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 is a revelation. I've been able to play all the latest AAA titles at their highest settings, consistently hitting smooth frame rates on the 165Hz FHD+ display. The RTX 5070's ray tracing and DLSS capabilities truly bring games to life with stunning visuals and incredible performance. The 1TB SSD provides lightning-fast load times for games and applications, making the entire system feel incredibly snappy.
Immersive Visuals and Smooth Gameplay
The 16-inch FHD+ 165Hz display is a joy to behold. The high refresh rate makes motion incredibly fluid, which is crucial for fast-paced games. Colors are vibrant, and the brightness is more than adequate for indoor use. The slim bezels create an immersive viewing experience, pulling you right into the action. Whether I'm gaming, watching movies, or working on creative projects, the display consistently delivers.
Solid Build Quality and Thoughtful Design
The "Jaegar Gray" finish gives the TUF Gaming A16 a sleek, professional, and understated look that stands out from typical flashy gaming laptops. The TUF series is known for its durability, and this model is no exception. It feels robust and well-built, giving me confidence in its longevity. The keyboard is comfortable for both typing and gaming, with satisfying key travel and responsive feedback. The cooling system also does an admirable job of keeping temperatures in check, even during extended gaming sessions, which is a testament to its efficient design.
Excellent Value for Money
Considering the top-tier components packed into this machine – the powerful Ryzen 9, the cutting-edge RTX 5070, a massive 32GB of RAM, and a fast 1TB SSD – the ASUS TUF Gaming A16 offers exceptional value. It's a premium gaming laptop without the exorbitant price tag, making high-performance gaming accessible to a wider audience.
In conclusion, the ASUS TUF Gaming A16 is a remarkable gaming laptop that excels in every aspect. It delivers a fantastic balance of raw power, stunning visuals, and robust build quality, all at a competitive price. The ASUS TUF Gaming A16 has been an impressive machine right out of the box.
It’s fast and responsive, handling everyday tasks with ease. Whether I’m multitasking or running demanding applications, the laptop doesn’t slow down.
I can play my favorite titles at top settings without compromise. The graphics are smooth, frame rates are stable, and the overall experience feels premium.
One of the features I’m most excited about is the built-in NPU. I plan to set up local AI workloads to see how it performs, which makes this laptop feel future-ready beyond just gaming.
The laptop’s size lands right in the middle of what I wanted—not too bulky, but not ultra-compact either. It strikes a good balance between portability and screen real estate.
The ASUS TUF Gaming A16 is a versatile powerhouse. It excels at gaming, feels snappy for productivity, and offers intriguing potential for AI experimentation. For me, it hits the sweet spot between performance and practicality.

I've had this laptop for almost a month now, and I absolutely love it. This is my first gaming laptop but the last laptop I had was an ASUS. The cooling system works very well, my laptop had never once gone 90 or more. However, the cooling system can be loud. But its pretty common for gaming laptop to have loud fans.
I had a slight issue with the keyboard lighting not working when the laptop turned on, but one small setting change fixed it easily.
Overall, great laptop and it works nicely!

Runs smooth, battery life is good, great quality. Never had a problem using it and it always turns on in like 5 seconds. Face ID is valid and works more often than not. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to play PC games with high resolution and no lag.

This would be the 4th laptop I've bought in this price range in the last 6 months. I found myself in need of a new laptop because my old 3060 laptop is showing it's age in newer games, and I first went with an MSI katana with a 1080p screen. The screen was a blurry ghosting mess with horrible response times, I then tried a the dell with the 4060 and a 120hz 1080p screen, once again a blurry mess. My third laptop was another ASUS tuf, the model with the radeon 7700s. It's performance was great, but the entire laptop got blisteringly hot and I couldn't even type.
I finally got this one, and it's just been a winner, great response time with the panel, decent brightness after some adjustments, RGB keyboard, though only one zone, a fairly strong CPU with a good GPU. The 8gb of Vram might be an issue later on down the line, but laptops for me are mainly for web browsing and MMOs like WoW and FFXIV, and I don't foresee 8gb being a problem for at least a few years.

Solid gaming computer. Lightning fast, has equivalent or better specs at a slightly lower price point. AAA games run excellent including RUST, COD and my gf's SIMS 4 hah. Only minor negative is that the fan is relatively loud when it turns on.

Excellent bang for the buck. having a num pad is also a huge deal for me working in 3d modeling. Display is slightly on the dim side but not a deal breaker.

The Asus TUF so far has been great only had it a few days and play one game, Halo but processor is plenty fast enough and no issue with the graphics card.

This laptop was a big step-up from my previous one - a 2020 HP Envy 360 - so the performance was both a shock and a relief.
I have had no real issues so far, and it runs incredibly smooth while I'm working. I am a 3D modeler and animator, so a fast refresh rate is essential to my work. This laptop is perfect for that!
One slight issue has been a random one. At times, when switching between windows or tabs, the graphics will glitch and not 'catch up' well, meaning two windows may temporarily merge. The longest this happened for was about 30s. It was unnerving, but solved on it's own in the end, I just had to let it sit for a few seconds.
And make sure you have a strong outlet to plug the charger into. Mine doesn't work in some public outlets, probably due to the large amount of voltage it needs.

Cant go wrong with this laptop! I needed something fast and with high ram for work. I needed something that could handle several apps at once. I thought a gaming laptop would have the specs I needed and this thing delivers! I am not versed in the jargon to describe specs or performance, but I know productivity. This thing scan do it all! Added bonus: my kids love that it is a gaming laptop!
