Regularly locks up completely to the point it's completely unresponsive and never recovers and I can only regain functionality by performing a hard reboot by holding down the power button to turn it off. Frequently this doesn't even turn it off, just the display, and when I try to power it back on I'm right back where I was before - still locked up. Other times it's got some sort of background process looping that prevents me from logging into websites (I can't put the cursor into the login fields), or being able to do anything at all. Again, the only option is to do a hard recycle and lose everything I'm working on. I figured a gaming laptop would be a little more robust than this, and I'm not even gaming. Just browsing the web, emails, working with various types of documents. I'm 2 months outside the returns window (got this late Jan 2026 and it's early May now), so thought maybe I could trade it in for a giftcard - I was willing to take a bit of a loss to get a different laptop, but this model isn't even on the list of models available to select for exchange. That shows how much Best Buy stands behind this laptop. Toying with the idea that I'm going to wipe the OS and see how this does with Linux.

Still, it delivers good FPS in most games, though I was expecting more. Since I got it on sale, I’d say it was a pretty good deal

The keyboard feels spongy in the middle and its hard to use while gaming, so I hooked up a better keyboard to it. Everything else is amazing!
