    This thing waited about 3 weeks before it began giving me a black screen, with the fans rocketing to 100%. There is absolutely no indicator as to why this happens. I can go days playing a graphic-intensive game with no issues, and then it'll happen when I'm reading my email. I have attempted every single fix suggested on the internet to no avail. Now this seems to be happening multiple times a day. I've tried disabling fastboot, reverting drivers, updating drivers, keeping fans at > 50% at all times, updating BIOS, updating motherboard drivers. Nothing works. I had to buy a new PSU to even install this, and the new PSU doesn't have cables for my older GPU... so I am pretty much screwed.

    Some how erased my boot drive

    Everything was straightforward, hooked up. Updated drivers. Immediately noticed rgb screen flickering. Rolled back drivers and reinstalled. Seemed to go away. Next day whole screen looked like rgb vomit. Shut off my PC. Went to turn back on. DRAM wouldnt allow pc to post. Switched the slots, dram issue went away. Then it wouldnt boot. Checked in bios, my boot order was erased, and no boot drive detected. Put in my old gpu, my boot drive magically reappeared, but now it says windows is encountering errors, keeps blue screening. And won’t let me wipe, or repair. This has been one massive headache. Still no computer. Ugh

    110 Days, 2 RMAs, ASUS Hasn’t Fixed or Replaced

    I purchased this ASUS graphics card on May 8, and as of today August 26—110 days later—I still do not have a working card. From day one the card was defective. ASUS attempted to repair it under RMA USKVT71109, claimed it passed testing, but when I received it back it failed instantly on every benchmark and every game. They then agreed to replace it under RMA USKVT80341 (Case #N2507023547) on August 7, but weeks later (as of today August 26th) I still have no replacement, no tracking number, and no timeline. Every call to support ends with the same response: they don’t know what is happening. The full experience has been unacceptable. I built a brand-new PC around this $1,000 card, only to have it crash immediately on every 3DMark test (Time Spy, Port Royal, Fire Strike, Steel Nomad) and in every game. ASUS confirmed the problem, yet returned the card unrepaired. Now, after promising a replacement, they’ve gone silent. The Best Buy return window is only 14 days; by the time my system was complete on day 17 I discovered the card was defective and was already outside the return period. From May 8 to August 26, I have been stuck with a brand-new gaming PC that cannot run a single game because ASUS sold me a card that never worked and has not honored their warranty.

    Shipped no box horrible experience damaged box

    Waited over 3 months to get this GPU in stock delivery said 8 days shipped I should have stopped there. The order came from California Best Buy and going to Florida I assumed the GPU would be well packaged in a box going that far in transit. Today I received the GPU from UPS the GPU was in brown shrink wrap with a UPS shipping label slapped on. The GPU was not in a box no packaging just thin cheap shrink wrap. I immediately went to my Pensacola Best Buy very upset. Talked to the on-duty manager and asked how could they possibly ship a 1000$ GPU cross country with literally no box he didn't have an answer just blah blah all nonsense. All four corners of the GPU box were dented, scratches all over the box with dents and to top it off one end had a puncture hole. If Best Buy had shipped the GPU in any size box I probably wouldn’t be leaving this review. I am very angry with how Best Buy shipped my expensive GPU without an apology from either the associate or manager Pensacola location. When I got home to buy a new GPU well guess what out of stock again! If I didn't have a Best Buy credit card I would never shop here again. Buyer beware when shopping I recommend picking up or shopping at one of their competitors instead.
