Customers are saying

Customers admire the TUF GAMING X570-PLUS motherboard's performance, ease of use, and BIOS, frequently citing its strong Wi-Fi capabilities and excellent price-to-performance ratio. Many appreciate the user-friendly setup and the inclusion of useful features. However, some users express concern regarding the lack of a USB-C header and the placement of the chipset fan, which can be obstructed by certain graphics cards. The motherboard's compatibility and RAM options are also frequently praised.

I rebuilt an existing desktop with nearly all new conponents, including comparable upgrade to my ASUS MOBO. It's got everything I needed and nothing I didn't.

Love this board! Purchased this one after returning a competitors board and this is where I should have started. Don't let the price fool you. I spent more on the first one and this one was less expensive and a better board. Solid performance. My only gripe is the placement of the chipset fan, but doesn't seem to be an issue even though it is covered by my XFX GPU.

Completed my build and everything went as planned. It came with Bios that was already amd 5000 ready, no update necessary. I had already plugged in a w10 usb drive. When I started it up for the first time was pleasantly surprised that windows was alreadyd installing without any keystrokes. Nice interface in Bios and contributes to my new 9 second boot up.

This motherboard is awesome to say the very least. Lots of functionality. 2 m.2 ports, one with its own dedicated cover. On board light diagnosing makes setup a breeze! Was having issues with ram and it automatically reboots to find a proper configuration for the ryzen cpu. Really cant say enough about this motherboard other than its a a beast for the price, I'm happy I paired it with my 3700x!

Excellent MB, WIFI and BT work great. Booted first time with no problem, but that could be because of careful assembly too. Only problem and should take a star off is the 2 pin headers for the HD LED ,the power On , reset, connection are still the same 2 pin header that dates way back to the 286's. Reason not to take a star off is most other MB still do the same.

Won't turn on, despite MOBO RGB lights on.

I bought this MOBO a few days ago, excited as it is my first ASUS. I've only heard good things. I've basically wasted the last three days trouble shooting the board. Day one is assembly. Finished it, but it won't turn on. I know the system has power, as the MOBO RGB lights are on. But hitting the power button on my case wouldn't turn anything on. Day two, I returned my case, assuming maybe it had a faulty Power SW wire or ect. Second case same problem. Day three, I went out and bought a 850w power supply, for the soul purpose of filling the last 4 CPU ATX cables out of 12 on the board. Still won't fire up. At this point I am researching the problem, and it seems the AM4 socket might be the issue, but I really have no idea. All I know is that I bought a motherboard that is probably never going to work, and that I have wasted my precious time off in futility. Thanks, ASUS.

      Dear Maxwell,

I'm sorry to hear that you have been having issues powering on your motherboard. That sounds like a very frustrating issue. If you haven't already, please take a screwdriver and and bridge the gap between the positive and negative terminals for your case power header to short the circuit. You can find that header on page 16 of the manual linked below. Your board should power on at that point. Can you also send me your complete system specifications so that I can double check for any compatibility issues? Please reach out to me at [email protected] and include case #N200212761 in your email for reference. I'd like to help you troubleshoot this issue in more detail.

      Thank you for choosing ASUS!

      Best regards,
      Lane

Received in late November 2020 with BIOS already updated to Version 2607, which enabled me to drop in a Ryzen 5600x and install Windows/update from there. Solid VRMs, good placement of fan and RGB headers. The X570 chipset fans do tend to run a lot of the time, given the placement of the top GPU slot, but overall I'm very pleased with this motherboard.

Fantastic MOBO for any build! I'm running a Ventus Trio 3070ti, AMD 5900x, 32gb 3600mhz RAM, and a EVGA 280mm water cooler on this MOBO and the results are fantastic. This MOBO will make a fine addition to any PC build that you are considering. It's "TUF" as heck and made with really high grade components.

Only had this board for a week so far but right now it's a major upgrade from the MSI - MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI. The MSI would hang upon start up, restart before I could enter my password, and sometimes disconnect my rbg keyboard and mouse. When starting this new motherboard, I got quick startup, keyboard and mouse have stayed connected, and haven't missed a password entry yet. Setup: 1. Unexpectedly had to do a new build and figured I'd give the new Ryzen 7 3700X a shot after rolling with Intel for about a decade. Runs like a champ so far, and decidedly cheaper than Intel. Yeah, I'd recommend this board. You get some of the bells and whistles without having to give up your firstborn.

This motherboard is great! I purchased this as I was building my new PC. It comes with a warranty I’m pretty sure (obviously I haven’t activated it yet if I’m unsure). Slots are easy to find, the instruction manual is also extremely easy to read.
