Great board for the Ryzen 5 CPU’s. Does have a problem where occasionally it doesn’t come out of sleep and you have to physically power it off and back on. I’m sure it’s just a BIOS setting, there are hundreds to fully control everything, but not something you’d expect out of the box.

This has been a really good board for a mid-level gaming system. I installed a Ryzen 7, 3600x into it and had no issues. All ports and connectors worked and it even supported the enormous number of fans I installed. I don't use the wi-fi so I cannot speak to that but BT works great. All said and done, very happy.

This board has been performing quite well. I have a Ryzen 7 3700x in it and love the speed. I was able to overclock my memory from 3000 to 3200 with very nice timings. The motherboard supports lots of memory options and very good manual overlocking support for memory. Temps are low across the board. I'm taking away a star because of a few annoying things. Spread spectrum cannot be disabled which causes several monitoring apps to show your base clock at 99.8 meaning you don't see true 4.4ghz speeds. You're technically still achieving those speeds, it's just very dumb that we cant disable spread spectrum. This means you also cannot adjust the base clock. The reason it's annoying these features are not available is because this is the X570 chipset, the highest-end AMD AM4 socket chipset. Access to these basic features should be there.

This board lands at the lower price point of the MSI X570 motherboards, yet it has features found on the higher end boards. It has an excellent power stability with Japanese capacitors. It is more than ready for the new Ryzen 9 3900x CPU. in addition, it has built in Wifi and Bluetooth. Everything about this board has met or exceeded my expectations.

Bought a Asus X570 elite (wifi) didn't post, went into bestbuy got the only x570 MOBO they had in stock with wifi, posted first try but then windows wouldn't install, long story short had to disable wifi and bluetooth from the advance bios stetting, windows worked but when i re-enabled it it kept on giving the same error, plugged in my network card updated the drivers and worked. Pros: Asus Reliability Some RGB Actually nice if there isn't any drivers issue Works with my 2080super and r9 3900x Cons: Really annoying to set up CD (I know every MOMO comes with a CD instead of a flashdrive, but its 2020 who uses CDs anymore)

      Dear Hello,

I'm sorry to hear that you had difficulty installing Windows 10 to this machine. This is absolutely not the type of experience we want any of our customers to have. As you noted, Wi-Fi needs to be disabled in the BIOS when installing certain Windows 10 builds with this motherboard. A guide on this process can be found at the link below. It sounds like you were able to resolve the issue, but I will forward your feedback on the process and the inclusion of the driver installation CD to the Product team for review. If you have any general or technical questions, please email me at [email protected] and include case #N200343272 for reference.

      Thank you for choosing ASUS!

      Best regards,
      Lane

Great motherboard. Looks amazing and quality seems great. My only complaint is it doesn’t have a usb-c connector so the usb-c port on my case doesn’t work. It’s not a huge deal tho since the motherboard has a usb-c port on the back

straight out of the box, it wouldn't boot up w/ a Ryzen 5 5600X. that's probably due to needing BIOS update. worked fine out of the box w/ my Ryzen 9 3900X. it's stable w/ no weirdness. not sure why they bothered with the legacy PS/2 connector but there's one on it if you need that sort of thing.

I will compare does board to Mike Tyson from the 90s it delivers unbelievable knockout punch when it’s paired with a Ryzon 3900 X Excellent board for gaming and it’s somewhat future proof outlook for the sales as the holidays are coming up but overall excellent board plenty of expansion slots 4.0 gen Compatible

first Asus item to work for me in years

First Asus MB that has actually worked for me in decades; I've been building PCs since 1986. Personally Asus has been a nightmare for me, 99 out of 100 previous motherboards purchased have been defective. This one, however, was the one that actually worked for me hence the reason I gave 4 stars. Folks rave about Asus but I've not been able to experience what they have due to previous misfortune. Overall this seemed like a good board. The UEFI, or BIOS for the Boomers out there like me LOL, it was easy to find things. I didn't keep this item long as the AMD 3600 I installed just didn't seem to be the gaming beast everyone claims that it is. The memory and CPU showed the speeds they were suppose to one I enabled the profile in the UEFI but I seemed to have lost FPS in the current game I was playing so I returned this item along with the CPU. PC parts either work or they don't and if they don't I just return them. The overall system just seemed sluggish and rather than waste time troubleshooting it, it was just easier to return and try something else.

Needed a mobo in a pinch and i was not mad with this guy. Love the price for the amount of quality you get in this guy. Just remember to turn off the lights when off function or your pc will be a disco at night. The 4 pin rgb can be a bit frustrating for aftermarket stuff.

Great motherboard, came with correct bios version already installed. The software for it is also nice. Only issue I had is that it doesn't have a USB-C header for the port on the front of my case, so I just use the back USB-C port instead.

Excellent motherboard! Installed Ryzen 5 5600x; 2 x16 GB 4000 g.skills RAM (not on QVL but) works well with 5000 series Ryzen, already had a smokin GPU from a previous build and 3 AOC 27" screens. Board arrived with BIOS 3001, so no issues with the higher end CPU. The BIOS does default to expecting 3200 RAM. So, if you buy faster RAM adjust the BIOS setting accordingly after you know it will boot without tweaks. Also, installed a Samsung nvme that I picked up on sale. It's fast. Only con so far is the out of date manual. Even the newer manual (downloaded from asus) has some information that does not fully match reality of an updated BIOS. For example, could not get the board to start until BOTH the 4-pin and the 8-pin CPU power connectors were attached. Despite all the instructions saying that was not necessary. Wasted over an hour checking all my connections which were fine. Was even starting to think the RAM might have been incompatible. Plugged in the second cable and it all came to life.

This was able to handle lots of heavy gaming sessions, mainly in part of the tons of VRMs you get within this board. There are better boards out there but for the money, this is practically unbeatable for AM4 chipsets.

Good mother board that does the trick for me. I do have issues with the graphics card clip being jammed so I may never be able to swap graphics cards again(I'm guessing this was just an isolated issue). Luckily for me I plan to stick with this gpu for a few years. Besides that this motherboard runs like a champ.
