Customers are saying

Customers admire the TUF GAMING X570-PLUS motherboard's performance, ease of use, and BIOS, frequently citing its strong Wi-Fi capabilities and excellent price-to-performance ratio. Many appreciate the user-friendly setup and the inclusion of useful features. However, some users express concern regarding the lack of a USB-C header and the placement of the chipset fan, which can be obstructed by certain graphics cards. The motherboard's compatibility and RAM options are also frequently praised.

straight out of the box, it wouldn't boot up w/ a Ryzen 5 5600X. that's probably due to needing BIOS update. worked fine out of the box w/ my Ryzen 9 3900X. it's stable w/ no weirdness. not sure why they bothered with the legacy PS/2 connector but there's one on it if you need that sort of thing.

first Asus item to work for me in years

First Asus MB that has actually worked for me in decades; I've been building PCs since 1986. Personally Asus has been a nightmare for me, 99 out of 100 previous motherboards purchased have been defective. This one, however, was the one that actually worked for me hence the reason I gave 4 stars. Folks rave about Asus but I've not been able to experience what they have due to previous misfortune. Overall this seemed like a good board. The UEFI, or BIOS for the Boomers out there like me LOL, it was easy to find things. I didn't keep this item long as the AMD 3600 I installed just didn't seem to be the gaming beast everyone claims that it is. The memory and CPU showed the speeds they were suppose to one I enabled the profile in the UEFI but I seemed to have lost FPS in the current game I was playing so I returned this item along with the CPU. PC parts either work or they don't and if they don't I just return them. The overall system just seemed sluggish and rather than waste time troubleshooting it, it was just easier to return and try something else.

Great mobo. I built an awesome gaming rig on this platform and have been loving it for the last 6 months. Only wish it had an additional usb c because my case has 2

Good mother board that does the trick for me. I do have issues with the graphics card clip being jammed so I may never be able to swap graphics cards again(I'm guessing this was just an isolated issue). Luckily for me I plan to stick with this gpu for a few years. Besides that this motherboard runs like a champ.

This motherboard has served us well. It’s inexpensive without being cheap. It’d be great if it had RGB accents, but for the value it’s overall worth it.

    Excellent Motherboard!

Excellent motherboard! Installed Ryzen 5 5600x; 2 x16 GB 4000 g.skills RAM (not on QVL but) works well with 5000 series Ryzen, already had a smokin GPU from a previous build and 3 AOC 27" screens. Board arrived with BIOS 3001, so no issues with the higher end CPU. The BIOS does default to expecting 3200 RAM. So, if you buy faster RAM adjust the BIOS setting accordingly after you know it will boot without tweaks. Also, installed a Samsung nvme that I picked up on sale. It's fast. Only con so far is the out of date manual. Even the newer manual (downloaded from asus) has some information that does not fully match reality of an updated BIOS. For example, could not get the board to start until BOTH the 4-pin and the 8-pin CPU power connectors were attached. Despite all the instructions saying that was not necessary. Wasted over an hour checking all my connections which were fine. Was even starting to think the RAM might have been incompatible. Plugged in the second cable and it all came to life.

Needed a mobo in a pinch and i was not mad with this guy. Love the price for the amount of quality you get in this guy. Just remember to turn off the lights when off function or your pc will be a disco at night. The 4 pin rgb can be a bit frustrating for aftermarket stuff.

Great motherboard. Looks amazing and quality seems great. My only complaint is it doesn’t have a usb-c connector so the usb-c port on my case doesn’t work. It’s not a huge deal tho since the motherboard has a usb-c port on the back

My last motherboard has so many issues and it would not post. After that terrible experience, I looked up the best motherboard for my chipset and this one was highly recommended and for good reason! This one worked right out of the box and works flawlessly! Would recommend!

Great motherboard, came with correct bios version already installed. The software for it is also nice. Only issue I had is that it doesn't have a USB-C header for the port on the front of my case, so I just use the back USB-C port instead.

Great motherboard if you are not trying to buy a high end one with the extra features. Bought it to replace my x470 since it was beginning to show issues with the latest Windows update. Board was Ryzen 3000 ready, so I was able to to just place my 3900x in it and it booted without a problem.

Great value compared to competition, many options and features for the price point, have bought a few and highly recommend unless you need newest wifi specs (even at this point likely still need a separate module for wifi 6e, but that's still fringe for most consumers)

Got this along with all the other necessary parts to build a gaming PC last month. I struggled while figuring out how to fit everything together but i did successful do it over several hours despite having no previous experience. Good for beginners. Pc running very smoothly. I would recommend it.

This was able to handle lots of heavy gaming sessions, mainly in part of the tons of VRMs you get within this board. There are better boards out there but for the money, this is practically unbeatable for AM4 chipsets.

It's an OK motherboard. The WiFi isn't WiFi 6/6e, but if you don't have super fast internet that's not a huge deal. My biggest gripe with this board is that there isn't a front USB-C header, so I can't use my case's built-in front USB-C port. I don't really think there's an excuse Asus could give me to justify not including one; it's kind of unacceptable at the price point regardless of when the motherboard was first released.
