Customers are saying

Customers admire the TUF GAMING X570-PLUS motherboard's performance, ease of use, and BIOS, frequently citing its strong Wi-Fi capabilities and excellent price-to-performance ratio. Many appreciate the user-friendly setup and the inclusion of useful features. However, some users express concern regarding the lack of a USB-C header and the placement of the chipset fan, which can be obstructed by certain graphics cards. The motherboard's compatibility and RAM options are also frequently praised.

Ordered this x570 chipset board to upgrade from a very oldam3 mobo. Wanted to take advantage of the gen4 NMVe M2 capability with a Ryzen 3700. Not interested in the RGB but probably the most problematic part of the install/setup. Everything else was smooth and easy. Using standard Wraith cooler, 32gb ram, 1050Tiusing every SATA port as well as usb3 port and Win 10 Workstation. Instant on, running cool, working Photoshop and other desktop apps, not a gamer. I expect this to last.

A great motherboard! Easy to get setup and smoking fast with my old 3700x and new 5800x! Do yourself a favor and use 3600MHz RAM. One tiny complaint, they don't include a second m.2 heatsink.

This is, in my opinion, the best AM4 MOBO you can get. This is my second purchase (I broke the first one after about 2 years, entirely user error) and I am completely happy with this purchase.

Works as intended, as the motherboard, and it works well I have not had any issues with it, however I could not get linux to run on this board with a AMD Ryzen 5600x and a 3060.

I have had other tuf boards and never had any issues and this one has been good to me so far and love the 2 different LED header options fron RGB to Addressable. I only slightly overclock so not much info there but you know you got a good board so the best thing is no worries. :)

You get great features of the x570 chipset without breaking the bank with unneeded fluff. Didn't have any problems setting it up. The AuraSync software is a little strange to set up, you only need Armory Crate. Only 1 ARGB header on the board was enough with a splitter.

Great motherboard, easy to setup mechanically and via bios. Only thing is I wish it had a USB 3.2 header to make use of the USB Type-C on most cases front I/O panel.

This was an upgrade from my X470 and Ryzen 5 2600 to my new Ryzen 7 and 3060 Ti! It really was a huge upgrade too considering the speeds of the board and all the features. Only thing I’ll say is ASUS Armory crate is full of bs you don’t really need lol. Other than that 10/10 recommend!

Great motherboard its future proof. It runs cool and has plenty of connections from usb to sata to m.2 ports. I paired it with a ryzen 5 6 core cpu and it does perfect playing any game along with my graphics card. Very happy with my purchase.

Terrible motherboard, bad layout and flaky

I got two of these motherboards, one for my gaming rig at home and one for my new work PC. The gaming rig was pretty stable which is why I decided to build the work PC as an identical rig. Problem is it was flaky from the start. Windows crashed out twice locking up, and the second time the SSD vanished and was not found by the motherboard. I reseated the memory, graphics card, SSD etc but it was still flaky so I decided to upgrade the BIOS to v1405 from the v1404 that came with it. Boom. Instant brick that I had to return to Best Buy for an exchange. Then to top it all off, last night I was running CrystalDiskMark on the gaming rig to see if it was better after doing a firmware update on the Corsair MP600 I am using, and boom, it rebooted itself in the middle of doing the test. Now finally if you look at the layout of this board, some idiot at ASUS decided it would be a great idea to put the motherboard chipset fan right behind the primary PCIe slot. Guess what goes there? Your GPU. And guess what happens if you have a half decent GPU with 2 or more fans on it that it is double wide? It covers the *entire* motherboard fan, so the motherboard chips can't breathe! So at this point not only is the BIOS super flaky, but I suspect part of the general flakiness of this board may well be due to the motherboard chipset fan not being able to do it's job. Guess I am gonna try the MSI boards out. Oh, and if you do get this motherboard (or actually any X570 chipset motherboard), you will need at least an 850W power supply. Not because it needs all that power, but because it needs an extra 4-pin 12V ATX power supply connection next to the standard 8-pin 12V ATX connection and power supplies less than 850W generally only come with one of those (as I found out). In order to get decent performance use Precision Boost Overdrive on your CPU (especially if you have a Ryzen 9 3900X or bigger), you will want that extra 12V power line attached. I suspect one reason the work rig was flaky is because I did not have that attached but it was still flaky even with PBO disabled.

So the board is fully compatible with everything I have. Why the 3 stars? Software for the board can be a bit wonky to install. I want to control the RGB of my computer but the software that does this and checks drivers and stuff does not fully install. I was however to get some of the software installed like the free raid hard drive configuration and the fan support. Asus needs to work on software compatibility, when I looked up the issue, seems to be a very common one…
