Customers are saying

Customers admire the TUF GAMING X570-PLUS motherboard's performance, ease of use, and BIOS, frequently citing its strong Wi-Fi capabilities and excellent price-to-performance ratio. Many appreciate the user-friendly setup and the inclusion of useful features. However, some users express concern regarding the lack of a USB-C header and the placement of the chipset fan, which can be obstructed by certain graphics cards. Wouldn’t ever buy this board again. Constant blue screens because the built in wireless and Bluetooth have no proper drivers and a mediocre BIOS made this a regret. The second star is because eventually after a ton of troubleshooting it ended up functioning.

You know how there are early release games out there? Well... this is a beta release hardware. When I originally purchased this motherboard, I was promised compatibility for four sticks of specific RAM, after a month or so that changed to just two. Now I get random BSODs for memory management. This motherboard promised compatibility for RGB control. What they really meant is that compatibility means you can only have one color at a time, yet they promised the full RGB spectrum sync. This motherboard also comes with a rootkit. You can disable it, but it's on by default. By default, it does not work. You will have to troubleshoot by yourself because Asus does not provide real support anymore. This company has built a name in the industry and does not care anymore. Unless your hardware is Intel based, they will send you back a far worse product then you sent them.

I'm sorry to hear that you have had various issues with this motherboard. That is absolutely not the kind of experience that we want any of our customers to have. Is your memory kit on the QVL? This board supports quite a few 4 DIMM kits. What components are you having RGB issues with? What do you mean by having a preinstalled rootkit? Can you please send me your complete system specifications so that we can work through these issues in more detail? I don't know why I thought I would be OK buying Asus. As a computer tech, I've stopped buying their stuff 15 years ago because it's a gamble if you're going to get anything working. Just bought a 5900X and needed a new motherboard, and in my quest to never buy from Amazon or Newegg again, BB was my last stop shop and it was either Asus or MSI, which I hate both. Decided to try Asus, 2 boards now, neither of them work. Both shut my system down into a hard shutdown that requires resetting the power supply. Good job ASUS, nice to see you haven't changed in 15 years.

This is probably the worst experience I had with ASUS product. I bought one and couldn't get it power up after spend time assemble the whole PC. Did some troubleshooting and found out the power pins are not working, then I brought it to BestBuy geek squad so that they can test out with different power supply, same result. I exchanged it with another one of same model, thinking it might just be bad luck, and same thing happens again. I think this model has some serious defect that will prevent it from even powering up. Some specification: PSU: Cosair CX600M That's all since I can't even get it power up with screwdriver.

I heard great things about this motherboard from my brother. So I bought one and the the ram slots were broken after a couple of months with no aggravation. I even made sure the ram was good and there weren't any issues. I thought it was just one bad motherboard so I would get another one and it would fix the problem. after getting the second one low and behold the same issue after a month. to top all of the issues I went to get help through asus and waited on line for a whole day and got no help. I tried the next day still no help.

Purchased this in January 2021. Been running in my PC since then with nor problems. Today I go to boot and no output. The DRAM light was bright orange. I tried switching out a few sticks to see if my ram died (doubted it). No luck. Luckily I had another mobo available. Did a swap and everything is working like new. Now, I'm trying to find warranty info and all Asus is saying is to call Geek Squad. Geek squad says call Asus....terrible service. Last Asus product I'll be buying... Very disappointed

So after a 8 months the motherboard failed. I sent it back in for warranty repair. Instructing that there were scratches on the near the pci bridge because of the huge card I had but that the system was fine even with said scratches. The motherboard simply failed and would not turn on recently and so I sent it in(mind you i had to pay for the $15 for Fedex). They came back to me saying that it has scratches and it voids the warranty and that I'd have to pay $160. I advised them that they could keep their board and I would never buy another Asus product again.

I purchased this mobo in October of last year. Not until this year 2020 did I try to add 2 more RAM sticks (8gb x2) to upgrade it to 32gb from 16gb. I bought the RAM modules from the exact same vendor from the last one (buy again option) to avoid compatibility issues. I noticed RAM slots 1 and 2 doesn't work. I thought it was the RAM modules so I seated it to slots 3 and 4 and it posted just fine. So now, I am stuck with a motherboard with faulty RAM slots. This motherboard is also out of warranty and therefore "unreturnable".

This board is fine when it works. However, I've tried multiple combinations of RAM (single stick, different brands, all verified to be compatible) and system won't post. I had this issue every so often, but now it has been increasing in frequency to the point that I'm now unable to boot my system. Obviously this is quite frustrating, and I"m regretting not going with the AORUS as a budget option.
