Very disappointed in Asus

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The only reason I rated 2 stars is that the Wifi module on the motherboard was defective and I was troubleshooting it all day and night. I tried updating windows 10, updating drivers for the wifi module, updated the motherboard to the latest Bios version, made sure the antennas are on correct, changed locations on my computer. I also did a clean windows install and still didn't work. Other than the wifi module not working; the motherboard booted fine and worked. I returned it and got my $200 back.

Stay away!

It worked great for a couple days and then it started to constantly crash. I thought it was something going on with the RAM, but I got new RAM and had the same issues, even tried a third set of RAM and one of the sticks did not even register in BIOS. Troubleshot everything possible with no result. Bluetooth quality was absolute trash when the board did work. I have returned it and am looking for a replacement

Shut downs

No support from best buy and asus usa has best buy cover their warranty and rma stuff. when i told geek squad it wouldn't POSt, they asked if i couldn't log into windows........ they have no clue. My system failed after a power outage. best buy nor asus care.

Great but defective batch

It is a great motherboard but the bios are much more confusing than others. This is the second one of this kind that I’ve bought and both have been defective. The first one it didn’t recognize the cpu and the second ones first two ram slots were defective.

Bad

I waited patiently for my board to get here, took my time, made sure everything was hooked up correctly, but low and behold, it doesn't boot. So I spent about 12 hours of my day troubleshooting everything, only to find out there is no power being brought to the gpu, the ram, or the cpu. So, yeah. Safe to say I will be returning and will make sure to avoid this company in the future.

don't get asus you'll regret it

audio issues make it unusable

SO I can RMA the board !!! SWEET.. I am having to work from home and cant be without the motherboard of my pc for 3 weeks while it gets shipped into ASUS and them possibly shipped back out to me. The audio issue seems to be a known issue with this motherboard.

Disappointing to say the least

I’m really disappointed as I had a lot of confidence in this motherboard. It has glowing reviews , it also seemingly has taken my graphics card with it or vice versa. I had a RX 580 OC Not sure if there is a warranty but I would love to know….

Avoid, Not Worth The Hassle

I've had nothing but issues with it since I got it. I took it to a PC repair place after it refused to even load up BIOS, the technician said that this specific model of board has been at their shop quite a few times lately. Got it working again, and has once again died, even after testing with replacing/swapping every part besides the board.

Still don't understand why Asus is so popupar

Also been getting this weird issue where the cpu fan header does not detect a fan but still powers the fan. Save your money an either get the simularly priced Gigabyte Aurours Elite or MSI X570 Tomahawk. I have never ran into these issues with Gigabyte and MSI.

Mobo is broken after few months of use

Frys everything!

I bought this board along with an Rtx2080ti ryzen 3800x and tridents memory. When I plug it in, there is a weird smell and the board never boo to bios. Its turn out that the board was faulty and its literally fried all of my components. Now im $2000 dollar indept with no computer in a pandemic. What a sad day.
