Has voice announcement of calls if those numbers are programmed into your speed dial; occasional funny mis-pronunciations. But a good value for the price, if you want a basic cordless phone,

Like the clearer backlit screen and somewhat larger size. secondary base phone is nice - just need an outlet to plug in the cradle.

Nice phone but one catch

You can't stand the phone up if you wanted to when using the speaker phone option. You risk either hanging up the phone or hitting other buttons if you do set it down. One of the features it has which is kinda cool is the ability to playback your messages at a slower speed. Just in case the guy from the old Fed Ex commercials calls and leaves a message.
