Bought this for a desk phone. The digital display shows 888888 when on a desk. Have to pick it up and flip it about 90 degrees to read the display. If you hang it on a wall it reads fine. For a desk, do not buy......

I purchased this item on 11/15/2019 to replace a Uniden telephone that we had for years. The sound quality was poor from the beginning. After 5 months, the phone died today (4/12/2020). It has not had a dial tone all day. I checked the batteries to make certain that they were fully charged, they are. There is a message on the screen that says, "line in use", it's not. Also, for about a month now the speaker phone button worked about half the time. Often it would have to be pressed a few times for the speakerphone to work. Very disappointed in this telephone. Going to try replacing this one with a Panasonic - wish me luck.

My only complaint is that the phone is very heavy.

I have had similar model for years. This recent purchase has trouble keeping the screen information. At times, it goes blank. By moving the phone I can get it to turn on. I have new batteries and have checked the door to the batteries. No luck.

Would be a great phone, however it does not allow you program in a number from the ID. It asks for you to program in your "local" area code. If you try to punch in your family member's number from their caller ID, it won't dial it. It will LEAVE THE AREA CODE OFF IT and thereby the call won't go through as it leaves out three numbers needed for the call to be valid. I just don't understand that concept but can only describe it as typical of AT&T. A%% backwards! I would never buy it again. I'm stuck with them now. Not worth the shipping expense to send them all back.

The display is not readable. It needs to be lit up. Not at all as pictured in the ad & on the box it came in.

NOT A GOOD PRODUCT. WOULD LIKE TO RETURN IT FOR STORE CREDIT SINCE I DON'T HAVE THE RECEIPT ANY MORE. I THINK THIS TELEPHONE WAS PREVIOUSLY PURCHASED AND RETURNED.

I am not happy with this telephone...I guess it is MY fault, but I did not realize it did not have voice mail. I've had AT&T here to set the voice mail up...only to be told the phone doesn't have one!! I guess it is more for an office than a home. SO, while I will be either donating or tossing, it is really my own fault for not checking more thoroughly.

Phone speaker is terrible. Display panel hard to see at certain angles

This phone would not put three numbers together for the area code. Two numbers, skip a space , two more numbers then six numbers. I had a friend that once worked for ATT try to program this phone. The caller ID put in the number if you could read it. Numbers were not in order.

Not a very usable device. The screen is almost impossible to read.

Tried at my parents' house and my house and it wont turn on. Just a red light. Nothing else. Tried manual and nothing worked. Not sure what to do other than recycle it. What a waste of time.

No missed call alert light. I wanted a phone like my old one that shows when you had a missed call. This one does not and I haven't found one that does.

Don't know anything about this phone since could not get it to work. Turns out land line was messed up.

The phone appears to be well built, and though I have not subjected to any real abuse, it has not broken yet. The call quality and clarity is good; I can hear callers and callers can hear me. The phone was easy to install and setup, and it has all of the features you would expect of a simple desktop phone. When I purchased the phone the fact that the phone operates on batteries instead of AC power was not resoundingly clear, Therefore, potential buyers should note the phone's advanced features require 4 AA batteries, which are not included. For the purposes I intended to use it, compounded by the immediacy of the need, the battery issue was not problematic enough to warrant the hassle of returning it. If you want a battery-operated phone that works, I recommend it. However, if you want an AC powered phone this is not it.

I wanted a simple phone that has a speaker phone without being an answer phone and a reasonable price. It has big buttons and an easy to understand layout. The only drawback is that it needs batteries for the speaker phone.

I needed a corded phone to plug into wall jack. This phone has speakerphone and large digital display of caller ID. Sleek design and coordinates w/ my kitchen decor. Plugged into jack right out of the box. Directions very easy. Great phone.

I like the caller ID features and the speaker phone. Speed dial is very easy to set-up. Overall for the price it's a great buy.
