It seemed like a good product for a great price, unfortunately I was replacing a large button phone for an elderly woman who is losing her sight and the buttons simply weren't large enough for her needs... there were some great features to the unit and I can see it being an excellent phone for someone who is not vision impaired.

Replaces an older AT&T phone with similar bells and whistles. So far, no problems. The phone cord is too long for wall installation. A shorter one should be provided as an alternative for wall use.

Is there a way to get this phone to recognize a key press on the keypad during a call where I have to select a number from a menu? I have been having to use a different phone anytime I am directed to an automatic menu. When I try to press a Button, I am told my keypress is not recognized. This happens on every single call that uses an Interactive Voice Response (IVR). Is there something I can do besides resorting to using another phone in my home whenever I get a call needing this?

The phone meets our needs for answering machine built in. Nice design, easy to use. Only downside is that it doesn't work in a power outage.

This is just what I needed as an extra landline. It fills the bill and I like it very much. I'm glad I bought it.
