Perfect corded phone! *Review Summary Example: Great camera for a beginner

The CL4940 is used by a nursing home resident. The nursing home staff answer the phone using the speaker button. The microphone picks up sounds very well all over the room. The reception very clear - making conversation great with someone who has limited mobility. Very good features and built durable to last.

I didn't think I could find this, but thankfully I did. My father relies on phones like this since he's not the tech savvy type.

I found this for my 93 year old mother who is hard of hearing. I had to return it. She could hear the phone ring, but couldn’t hear what the caller was saying, even after pushing the hearing assist button. Instead I bought her the At &T cordless phone with answering machine and 3 extra handsets like she had before. It works better for her. It would probably work fine if you don’t have a hearing problem.

Parents really like the phone. The large number with the incoming call display is great. The only thing that was not great was the fact the they do not have an outlet close to the phone jack.

Purchased this phone due to our hearing impairment and allows for callers to leave messages on phone when needed.

Really like the phone, hard to find a land line these days. Had another just like it for several years.

If you don't answer all of your calls from this phone then you have to delete them one at a time.

I finally updated my phone line with a fiber optic one only to find out that my old phone/answering machine wouldn't work with it. This phone/ answering machine does and I'm so happy! It is easy to set up and I haven't had any problems yet (purchased in Dec. 2017).

I don't use all of the functions because directions are not easy to understand.
