Easy install, clear audio
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Clear audio with easy installation. The handsets are sturdy without being bulky or too heavy. There are enough handsets for every room, but you can control the ring volumes so they're not blaring or echoing.

No more robo calls!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a really good phone system. I am very pleased with it even though I gave it just four stars. I found it confusing and difficult to set up, but I am not a techie. I’m sure that anyone good at technology would have no trouble setting it up. Once it is set up you won’t have any problem using it. I haven’t had a robo call since I set it up. I would recommend this system. It won’t disappoint.

Very happy with the call blocking
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.11/16/2019 My old at&t cordless phones were breaking down (new batteries didn't help), I've had these phones for 10 years. I like the new AT&T - CL82407 DECT 6.0 with the additional call blocking capabilities. It works, and it screens calls so I don't have to. I like the larger handset and the brightly lit numbers. It also lets me program numbers that I want to answer. If you're looking to stop those nuisance calls (robo and solicitation), I highly recommend these cordless phones.

Good and simple
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good range around my house, one of the handles is located in my basement area and has no problems connecting to the mother base. Only bought it because my mother in law is used to land lines and can't really handle cell phones and now I end up using it quite often. Speaker is a little low and mic not very sensitive so if I am trying to multitask and use the speaker function, both ends of the call have a little difficulty hearing. But overall good set and does what it's supposed to do.

Handsets upstairs and downstairs is convenient!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had an earlier model of this phone that we bought in 2011. The batteries in 2 handsets started to lose their charge quickly the beginning of this year, 2020. I had not realized we had it for 9 years! Wanted to find the same model, and found it was replaced with more up to date models. This one has the "smart call blocker" and several other new features. So far it has been a great phone.

Setup Instructions not so hot
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So putting this together was not a breeze. There are these electrical connections that each cordless phone needs to connect into the wall. One of them is different from the others, and that goes to the base unit. But they don't tell you that. The others are made so that they won't connect the base unit to electrical power. They could have put a sticker on the different one that said "This goes to the base unit." But they use the Osmosis Method to tell you about this. They expect you to know this by osmosis. Not figuring this out, I was about to take the phone back. However, just before doing so, my wife and I decided to look at the connections and one was different. We finally figured it out. But that was really frustrating. So far the phone is fine, but they only give three stars due to incomplete instructions.

Some serious flaws
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While the sound on this phone is clear, it has good range and it does have spoken Caller ID, it has some serious flaws. First, the lowest volume on the handset is LOUD. Like "I can hear the other person in your conversation from the other side of the room" loud. This may be good if you have bad hearing loss, but otherwise it can be annoying. Also, while the handsets have spoken caller ID, the base station speaker also has spoken caller ID. What this means is that even if you press the Off button on the handset during a call to silence it, the base will continue to shout "CALL FROM (BLAH BLAH BLAH)". There is no apparent way to silence the voice on the base station. I'm not sure why the designers thought this was a good idea. It's a bit disappointing that a company of AT&T's ability put out a product lacking some basics that other cordless phone makers have.

Perfect for my small restaurant
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up for my business. Was able to set a ringer that is not so abrasive to guests when phone rings, answering machine has plenty of capacity for all of the messages we receive and the other features are easy to utilize as well. Very pleased with purchase.

Okay phone
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far it's okay. The design of the handset is a little awkward. It's squared off that makes it not as comfortable to hold as the more rounded one. Sound quality, ringer quality, all proving to be okay. My biggest complaint is the length of the power cords on the handsets and main phone. They are short. I had to change where I plug these phones in because of the shortness of the phone. Otherwise a decent phone.

AT&T - CL82407 DECT 6.0 Expandable Cordless Phone
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up in home, but instructions use symbols that are tricky to follow. Phone's speaker volume somewhat difficult for hearing aids to pick up. In use the phone hand units are difficult to stand alone on flat surfaces or to hold without covering its speaker and/or the input.

Easy set up and phone call blocking
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.About 10 minutes to set them all up. Put Smart Call Blocker, good bye to a lot of annoying calls. Can press call block while phone is ringing to add a number to your block list, which I did with many. Blocked one friend who got a new number and didn't say anything when I answered, so on 2nd call I blocked him. Eventually he got a hold of me and gave me his number and I unblocked it. No complaints in the first month of usage.

Call blocking is good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good Quality phone, not as heavy as our old 10 year old but carries info on all phones, not just one picked up. Programming is a bit complex but they have a tape you can follow to set up and very good directions and book. Call blocking works and if you forgot someone you can just add as you go along, they can always leave a message. Taking some time, but my 91 year old mom getting use to. Could have more shortcuts, but maybe I haven’t discovered yet.

AT&T CL82407 Cordless Phones
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the most part they're fine. It takes 2 rings before caller ID is announced. I would have preferred ID announced on first ring, not third. Can't be changed. I am also trying to make volume louder on speaker. No help in manual. I would recommend despite these, at least to me, drawbacks.

Meets our needs
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These phones were a replacement for some phones that seemed to have a couple of problems. They were another brand that we had owned for a lot of years. The new phones are meeting our needs although I have had some problems on the set up of the answering machine to be in sync with the message answering service that comes from our phone line provider. I still haven’t gotten this straightened out entirely. The other thing I noticed is when I unplugged the central unit, I lost some of the settings and had to reinstall them. Other than that they work ok.

Prevents running to phone for telemarketer.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live in a long, ranch-style house with a finished basement. It always seemed like I was running to the phone, only to find it was a telemarketer. I now have a handset at each end of the house on each level. I LOVE the announcement feature; if I do not hear a name announced, I know it is probably a telemarketer. The announcement feature + nomorobo.com is a dream. I need a home phone for *911 access for my child.

Great wireless set.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I found this product to be easy to setup. It is also a nice update to a previous system from the same manufacturer. The product has been exactly as advertised in the online description. I’m very pleased with all of options available such as: voice announcement of caller, caller log, answering machine, call directory, etc., as well as, all the various settings and choices that are available for the purchaser to personalize the system.

Good value full the dollar.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We felt like dollar for product was good. It was easy to set up and prepare for operation. The quality of the phones was very obvious. I would recommend this product to family or friends.

Would buy again
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with the phones. The best feature is the call block. I loaded all our family and other frequent numbers. That did take me about 1/2 houur, and turned on call bock. I haven't had a single robocall since. The only thing i would improve on is volume when on speakerphone. It really needs to be able to be a little louder, but is usable. I would definitely buy again, as before this the robocalls were driving me nuts.
