Easy to assemble; scratchy sound

It was easy to assemble. I am still working out all of the bells and whistles -- a lot to learn. My major concern is the scratchy quality of the sound. I'll be contacting ATT&T to see if it is a problem with the transmission or if the phone itself is the problem.
