    We bought this system because we had disappointing results with a system from AT&T (via Sam's Club). The main quirk that annoys me is that when the individual handsets ring, it is a continuous signal (i.e. ringringringringringring.....until you answer), in other words no pause between rings. I solved that by just having the base ring on it's own, and incorporating a corded phone in the den so that we cover the whole house. By the way, that was the problem with the AT&T sets. Other than that all is good with these phones.

    These are a nice set of phones, the one draw back is the wall mounting option, the phone sticks out awkwardly from the wall due to the orientation of the base and how the phone sits on it, other than that they work with good range throughout the house, a problem I had with the previous set I was using,

    Reasonable price for a four handset cordless home phone system. Quick and easy swap-in/swap-out with my deteriorating former model. Handsets work fine upstairs/main floor and basement. No surprises after a month or use. We don't use the phone's answering machine, instead relying on our VOIP carrier to provide this service. I do miss a blinking announcement light we used to get when a message was taken by our VOIP provider.
