Returned next day. Smart call blocking is a pain to figure out.

I, like most of us, have suffered for years with SPAM, junk, and unwanted calls. And I have used a number of different methods to avoid them: NOMOROBO, Sentry Active Call Screener, and Digitone Call Blocker. But this AT&T product is perfect. Very visable, easy to read, screen for old eyes like mine. It has a user friendly menu system for setting up the features. It does take time to read and understand everything it can do. And the instruction manual is very small with fine print. So you would be better off getting a copy of the manual in PDF format and reading it from your computer. The system has a very effective call screener for any telephone number you have not added into the "ALLOW LIST". The caller must leave his or her name and enter # to continue the phone call to you. Robo calls cannot do that. The phone then announces the person and allows you to accept or reject the call or have caller leave a message on the answer system.

Bought this system to block unwanted Robo and marketing calls. Was receiving 5 - 10 calls per day. Easy set up of the system. The menu is easy to use and understand. After installation the phone did not ring all day. It did show on the phone display two calls were missed. It appears this system is working as advertised. I had a couple of my friends call me, so I know the system is working properly. The phone is clear and is easy to use. Have only had this system for a couple of days. Will write another review in a couple of months.

Replaced my antiquated system recently to get the new call screening features. Needed a system capable of expansion by adding MULTIPLE handsets. This particular system fit the bill. It has been great so far, BUT be aware the speaker on each handset is NOT very loud and can be difficult to use since one MUST hold the handset to get best volume and therefore limits it being used while doing other things. The speaker on the BASE is excellent, but the individual handsets are just not loud enough for me. Despite this issue, the product features are excellent. You MUST read the manual carefully to understand each option before setup, but once that is done the system offers many great, helpful features for STOPPING and/or CONTROLLING bothersome, unwelcome robo calls and solicitation calls. Highly recommend this system for anyone looking for those features who need MULTIPLE handsets (I have a total of 9, but will add 2 more).

Chose this phone due to the smart call blocker feature. With all the spoofing and spam callers this was a must. It works GREAT! Nothing is better than watching it light up and never ring because it is blocking some kind of spam call. Easy to add authorized numbers. Highly recommended for older people who are easier for thiefs to scam.

System is very easy to set up and we immediately noticed a huge reduction in nuisance calls. Robo calls, blocked numbers and unidentified callers don't even ring through, others hear a short ring and are then asked to give a name . Their voices will come over the intercom feature so you can choose whether or not to take the call. We've had the system for about four months and this is by far one of the best purchases I've ever made.

I REALLY wanted to like this phone. It had great features, it looked attractive, the price was right. So why did I only rate it with 1 star? The sound from the phone was one of the WORST I have ever heard! People I spoke to said they heard my voice well enough. But when I listened to their voices there was a lot of background noise. Yes I could still hear the people talking and even recognize their voices but this high frequency buzzing/hissing that was modulated by their voices was EXTREMELY annoying. It got so bad I even avoided using the phone. Ultimately I returned it and got a Panasonic which sounded MUCH better and had more features. Oh, and the Call Block worked VERY well but again if the actual phone function left a LOT to be desired then it HAD to be returned.

we have had 2 sets of this AT&T phone and neither set worked after about 3-4 weeks. Some examples: The phone was set for 5 rings, and picked up after 2 rings to the answering machine, When the phone would ring, we'd pick it up and it would be dead, so we'd have to rush to another phone to get the call. Sometimes the automatic dialing to pre-set #'s would work, other times the phone was completely dead and wouldn't work. The answering system didn't work.. you had to dial your own phone # in order to collect messages !! These phones are junk and should be taken off the market, as they are more than frustrating to try and use.

I installed these phones two weeks ago. No robo calls or telemarketers since. Only reason for 4 stars is that the caller ID is a bit garbled.

Out of the box, the next day after charging, the ear speaker sounds like the speaker is broken or has a cut in it. The static it produces is too much for me to take. This is being returned to the store. All four of the handsets have the same problem. The person on the other end says the phone is very clear. I can't hear them well all the time.

Great phone with one exception, the speakerphone volume will not adjust loud enough to be heard by my parents. Previous set was AT&T was loud and clear, this one was cheaped out. The 3¢ AT&T saved, cost them a sale (returned).
