great phone system. had to replace every phone in my house. great option

Bought for my Mom. Hard to set up. Poor quality. Bad sound. Hard to use

My wife and I still have a traditional phone line along with our cell phones. Personally I would love to give it up but it happens to also be a second means of communication for our home security. In the past few years the robocalls and solicitors have become unbearable. The do not call list is a joke. Things have become so aggravating that we had our old answering system pick up on the second ring and turned the ringers off on all of the phones. Well, I finally had enough and decided to fight back. I purchased this system and brought it home and got it installed. The setup was fairly easy and within thirty minutes I had already programmed both of our cellular phones and downloaded our contact list to the directory. The rest of the various numbers that we needed were added manually. Immediately the system went to work and for the rest of the day we did not hear the phone ring one single time where as the Saturday prior we had probably a dozen calls throughout the day. Finally peace and quiet! The five handsets are a nice touch and we have them located in various rooms throughout the house. The push to talk paging feature will come in handy for communicating with the wife when she is upstairs. Also the voice button on the side can be used to control Siri on my IPhone when it is in another room. This comes in handy for making voice activated calls or even checking the weather for that matter as long as I am within range of hearing Siri reply on my phone speaker. Another nice feature is the fact that the base can handle two separate Bluetooth phone connections at once. The bottom line? This is a great phone system and I would not hesitate to recommend it!

This phone had a book with about 150 pages to set this phone up. Was way to complicated just wanted a phone with cal block that I only had to push a button or hit one key to block call. This thing would do everything but not interested in doing everything,. SO I returned it.

Cheaply made. Sound was not good. Returning for a refund. I had bought the same system 10 years ago and they did nothing to improve it, but make all of the parts cheaper.

As others have said, this system has an innovative and versatile call blocking system. I was using an earlier generation of this AT&T multi-handset and BT-cell phone integrated system and upgraded to this to get the call blocking features. It was definitely worth it. One previous feature that is missing here is the ability to individually custom name the handsets, which makes it easier to use the PTT walkie-talkie feature and the intercom to call individual handsets.

First off, this is not a bad phone. Each handset looks nice, is comfortable to hold, has a large easy to read display, and the buttons feel good. I would have preferred a bit of rubber around the handset to make it easier to grip, unfortunately the handset is all plastic. The voice quality is pretty good. Easy to switch to speaker phone on the handset by pushing a button. The base unit is nice, has a large easy to read display. The speaker phone on the base unit is very good, as the base unit plugs directly to the wall the sound quality heard by others is exceptional. The phone system has an intercom feature. This allows direct communications from one handset to another. Some will find this feature useful. I prefer the good old fashioned way of just yelling across the house. The phone system also allows connection to two cell phones via bluetooth. So you can make cell phone calls directly from the phone. Again, I did not find this feature useful, as I have no interest in connecting my cell phone to this unit. So, why did I give this phone 3 out of 5 stars if the phone is overall pretty good. Well, the reason I bought this phone is because it has Smart Call Blocker. Unfortunately, I found Smart Call Blocker to be inconsistent. On a regular day I get up to 10 telemarketers or robocalls calling my home phone. I have Xfinity as my home phone provider and Nomorobo which is a service that reduces the number of calls. Anyways, I found that the Smart Call Blocker feature did not work consistently. Normally, when an Uncategorized call comes in the base unit lights up with a message that the call is being screened with Smart Call Blocker. Only when the caller presses the # key does the call go through. What I found is that Smart Call Blocker would simply not switch on for some calls. I tested this for about 4 weeks, and I estimate that about 10% of the calls were just let through. I contacted AT&T regarding this problem and they told me that the caller is probably pressing the # key before the base unit lights up and thats why the call seems to go right through. But, on those occasions I asked the caller if they heard any kind of screening message and they said no. Fortunately, the phone does have a feature to Block All Uncategorized calls. I have spent a week setting up a list of all phone numbers that might want to call me; friends, family, home security, etc. But, I really didn't want to resort to the Block All feature because now I am worried that I might miss an important call. In summary, overall a good phone system. Has a Block All Uncategorized calls feature that works well. Unfortunately, if you are buying this phone for the AT&T Smart Call Blocker feature, don't bother. It doesn't work properly. P.S. If an AT&T rep is reading this... On your next model phone, please allow people to make customized messages when using the Smart Call Blocker or Block All features. As is stands now, people can only make a customized message for the Answering System. I really would of liked to record my own outgoing message when blocking a call. - Thanks

These phones were a godsend! We were getting tons of spam and robocalls for a while. Not long ago, we had 17 in one day! That's when I said enough was enough. Searched around for a while. Found these. Excellent. Phone doesn't ring anymore unless 1) it's a number in your directory that you put in there to save, or 2) they've announced their name and pressed #. This is great, because all automated robocalls don't get past that! It screens silently and then I can go through and assign new numbers coming in to my saved directory, to an allow list, or a block list. Once on the blocklist, they're done. Really happy with this.

Believe it or not, not all teenagers have cell phones! So this item has proven to be a practical purchase for our son, who was homeschooled. It can link to our cell phones through Bluetooth and is durable. You can locate a missing phone (if the battery isn't dead) by paging it. My husband also likes having one in his office.

We have had this set of phones for over a week now. We bought for the call blocking features. And that works fine. The BIG disappointment - and really is important for us - that the sysyem has no blinking indicator when there is a voice mail message. It just day "Voice Mail Message" on the unlighted screen - both on the base unit and the handsets. I've never seen an answering machine of any kind that doesn't have a flashing light - until now. And that was enough for me to deduct TWO stars. I have no idea why they left it off. It's too late for us to return the system So if it's important to you to know if you have a voice mail message waiting be aware that you will have to pick up the phone to see if there is one. Love the phone otherwise but the lack of flashing indicator is a "dealbreaker" in my opinion

This is a great phone. Set up was very easy and we love the call blocking. We made the purchase on Saturday and it has already blocked 6 robocalls or unwanted calls. I like that it shows that you missed a call on the handset so if it was someone you know or want to talk to you will see that they called. Very happy with this purchase.

Good quality phone system, great choice, easy to use!!

Button move freely, no sticking, face is easy to read, program is intuitive - easy to use for the 1st time.

Easy to set up, great for large spaces. Would purchase again.

Gus, from the Geek Squad told me about these wonderful phone blocker telephones. He programmed them as needed, and when he left my home, they were fully operational. So grateful for his suggestion, and for his help in programming all that was needed. The peace and quiet that has resulted from the cessation of the continual robocalls, and unwanted calls is incredibly wonderful. So grateful for the Geek Squad.

I paid these phones for about 3or 4 years and they work perfect.

The advanced features are wonderful, but it does NOT keep accurate time. It loses 20-30 minutes in a day - have to keep resetting the time.

I have not used these phones yet as my new house is not complete. I have another set of AT&T phones that i have used for about 17 years with no trouble. Time to catch the newer tech.
