Big disappointment & horrible speaker option

It is practically impossible to switch to the hands-free mode and have a normal conversation. The speaker and microphone consistently cut out. I typically multitask while talking, but due to the speaker/microphone option not working well, I usually have to switch the phone back to regular talk mode and hold the handset. It is very uncomfortable tilting my head to hold the handset, as it causes major neck strain. If I hold the phone in one hand, then I cannot multitask as well. Adding contacts is a laborious process, as the buttons do not always initialize the specific request while "carefully typing them in. I have had to enter contacts more than once many times. It seems like the buttons do not always work? On the flip side, the phone's buttons are too sensitive; so it is extremely easy to hit the wrong button while walking. Never attempt to put the phone in your back pocket. Odds are, you will inadvertently call someone or press numbers? The phone should have a lock numbers option. I guess you get what you pay for.

I noticed the butttons on the phone are cheaply made and don't always register. My mom is using the phone and doesn't use it too much so hopefully the buttons last.

I guess you get what you pay for. Very cheap looking. pressing buttons for different buttons does not always work on the first press or the second press. My instruction book is printed so light I can not read it. is it possible to get a new manual so I can figure out how to set the proper date and time. how many rings before the answering machine kicks in. Is there a function for blocking robo calls. you can email it to me. Thank You Hank

It's a phone. It's cordless so it sits on a base. The base charges the phone. It answers the call when I press a button.

I just expected more features for this type of phone because of this price. It was just a basic simple phone. The technology out there now should automatically have those features.

the buttons are squishy, make clicking noises, and the phones felt flimsy. there was also a massive delay between pressing a button and something happening.

I was replacing a broken phone at my home. This one I bought is not as good as the one I had before. The extension works sometimes and not at all other times.

In the age of cell phones for everyone in the family, home phones are becoming less common. If you are needing a cheap phone for the home. This is a great deal.

Purchased this cordless phone because I could't find the brand- Panasonic DECT 6.0. Comparing to the other brand its second rate. However, it does function properly.

This phone was bought for grandmother who is old where she doesn't really use her cell phone so we bought her a new home phone. We had to take a chance because most of the phones to our liking wasn't on display. When we got home, my grandmother had difficulty reading the numbers on the phone leading to us having to take it back. We were disappointed not only in the phone but the Best Buy facilty not having it on display for customers to observe. I would not recommend it to older fellows.

Don't know if it's my service or not but there is about a half second delay between the time I push a button and the time it is enacted. Not good.
