It seems like my kids break everything that they actually need. We were down to only one cordless phone and they somehow lost that one. So I was forced to purchase this one. It was a great choice.

It has been a while since I purchased a home phone. This phone is everything that I needed and more. While I do not like to purchase the first thing I see, I was glad to have found this product. Thanks Best Buy!

Didn't last 18 months (purchased Jan 2014). Constant buzz/humming sound through the phone; cuts in and out. Quality now so poor that I need to purchase a new phone.

I am unhappy with this item for a number of reasons. First, the programming and the operation of the phone is somewhat counterintuitive. Second, if the handset isn't within about 1/4" of the precise position relative to your ear and mouth, you can't hear the other person and they can't hear you. Then, came this problem. When I initially purchased the phone, I was with one service provider for my phone service. Shortly after purchase I changed service providers. This required changing my voicemail number and password. I did so, and it worked. Then, about 3-4 weeks ago, I couldn't pick up a message the phone insisted I had. I wrote it off to the provider. This week, I discovered that another message had gone missing, and when I finally investigated, the phone had gone back to the original voicemail number. I know I didn't program it in because I would have had to go to the previous provider's web site in order to get it. I have reprogrammed the correct number in now and we'll see if it holds. It is possible I touched some button, but to go back to a number previously deleted is not my idea of a good nor easy phone to work with. I am seriously considering dumping this phone system and finding something better.

Was looking for a cheap alternative to the VTech phones we had that were had a "tin"-y sound and would often break up.

The phones look really nice and work well. I would buy them again.

Just needed a home phone that I use everyday to call, was perfect

it is very nice and light phone for the home and i like it.

The redial short circates; the caller-id misdirects! You go to dial a number;after the number is pressed it sounds like a elevated fog horn and not a solid tone! Don't let the looks fool you, I would not pay the price we paid,maybe $5.00 but that's it!

My AT&T - EL52203 lasted exactly six months--Feb. 13 to Aug 13 before it stopped answering and recording incoming calls. Very disappointed and would not recommend.
