It was hard to get wall hanging feature to work, so I gave up and it is a desk top phone. There is no indication that I have a message.

The old ones worked for alot of years so I replaced them with the same make and model. They weren't real costly either.

Had to get grandpa a new phone. He doesn't use cell. Works like it should. Answering system a bit hard for him to use

Always prefer AT&T phones, most reliable, and since they are my carrier they are included in my plan for home service if needed.

If you still have a land line and would like to have an answering machine this product is a good one for you. It has two wireless handsets as well.

Needed new phones. This lights up, really needed this function and also has a speaker. Not too hard to set up speed dial and use the other functions.

Bought this for my elderly mother in-law thinking it was the same phone as the CR highly rated voice quality model without the answering machine but apparently it is not. She couldn't hear it well enough so I returned it. Might work fine for other people though.
