To use an AT&T phone for longer than 30 days, you MUST purchase at least $25 in minutes. The store did not carry the items we had researched online, and the salesperson did not know enough to help me to choose a different phone. From the store notebook, he thought that all AT&T minute cards rolled over up to 90 days, but we discovered differently when we started to activate the phone. Best Buy was gracious to return this one for the $25 card, but it required an extra trip to the store. There are activation options that it also would have been helpful if someone in the store had known enough to explain or even to show me online. We would probably have still bought the AT&T phone but with a different card and perhaps a different plan.

Being on temporary job assignment in Michigan and in need of a caller number of this area I choose the prepaid gophone plan. It works but you need to refill your account on the expire day or your phone is dead even for incoming calls.

Purchase for my eight year old as a Christmas gift.

Needed this prepaid card so I woul not have to sign a contract. Just neede for one trip, but the prepaid plan is way too expensive.

Great idea. Worked great until I discovered the minutes expire if you don't use them all!! They sell you something and then take it away if you don't use it fast enough. Not happy with this at all

Decided to up my prepaid amout from $25.- to $50.- in order to get the unlimited calls and internet. Internet is slow and I can't figure out how to get around on it with this particular phone. I'm going back to the $25.- plan because it suits me better. Just need to make calls and text.

It gets the job done, I just needed a phone for my friend who is visiting from overseas. although I found later on out some other pre-paid phones come with international calling and some free minutes included
