We bought the Hot Spot when we purchased a HP printer so that we could print from our iPad. We pay the ATT monthly service fee but have only gotten results on a couple of occasions after working with it at length. Recently I spent an afternoon of talking with ATT service people and then an HP representative. Haven't solved this yet.

After beginning next billing cycle, didn't track useage. Found out later, is category design flaw. This, of course, happened after 2 week return deadline. ATT offered trade in---for $40 for hotspot, & Ipad mini--for $85. Only had both about 3 weeks! Hadn't even made first payment on both yet. Would have to pay twice for ipad mini!

Got a HP Printer which recommended wireless hookup. Didn't know it would cost more money running through the AT&T little black box - hence being notified after the fact that I've gone over my limit of use with the little black box & haven't even hardly used the Da--computer - it was all used up by the HP Printer.........hum, now my bill for internet for the month will be $60 instead of $50! Yep, I blocked my printer & turned it off! What a JOKE-AT&T is getting richer @ our expense-oh, it is nice, but SO NOT Affordable!

It's easy to use and set up, but the connection is slow. Not good for streaming or downloading at all.

Item purchased to connect to internet where wifi not available. Although my smart phones are on the same carrier and access the web without a problem the "mifi" hotspot does not connect to the internet. Repeated diagnostisc say slow or no internet connection.

I bought the MIFI at Best Buy, the f rst one was defective, after an hour with tech support, they agreed that it was hopelessly fried. ATT would not take it because I bought it at Best Buy, so I had to wait in a long return line. I took the second one home, and again it worked for a very brief time, it was too weak to support Utube or any kind of video. It fried too, so back to Best Buy and another one hour wait to return it. ATT advised me that I could use my I Phone4 as a "Hot Spot", and it works much better

this is my first Hotspot. I got this when I purchased my Toshiba Satellite Laptop and HP e-6320 Printer at the Best Buy Store on Perimeter Drive in Charlotte, NC.

I got this thing because it was .01 and gave me $100 off my ipad. This thing has just died for no reason, then once I got that straightened out I had to reset it so that it would read my data correctly. Definitely do your research on this,and I see why it was .01.

This device is about a month old and it just abrupt died. I need a constantly reliable way to connect to the internet , and this isn't the way to go! !!!

If I had it to do over again, I would not use this. I purchased it when I bought my computer and I will never use it because of the price of the data from ATT. I called them twice and was able to get my plan reduced but not until someone actually took the time with me. If you want to take it back after two weeks you pay $185.00 disconnect fee and Best Buy will not take it back. I am just waiting to cancel it so it does not cost me anything.
