    Hotspont would not allow me to shut down. I had long call with customer service that ended up with the manufacturer saying they are aware of the problem and the only solution until they come up with a fix, is to remove battery and then put back every third time. Therefore, I would not recommend it until they find a way to fix the glitch.

    I bought this for my access to the internet, so I could do away with my land line and old internet provider. Now, I can be online with my smart phone, tablet and desktop computer and only have 1 bill each month. The $20.00 cost per month is cheaper than my Centurylink internet was.

    I think this is worth it if you don't have wifi in your home or work place but you're better off getting an iPad (this is why I signed up for this item) with 4G. I was talked into making a bad choice. I already have wifi in my home and workplace and when I needed it to work in a rural area it did not!
