This is an upgrade from our original MIfi. We live in a rural district with difficult connections to the internet. This is a wonderful answer to our problems. Without this little jewel, we would be reduced to using the old phone line....................SLOW... And, we can connect phones, laptops etc. as well. whtowl2

This is my second time using a MiFi and the AT&T product is better than the one I had before.

I bought this last minute before I left on a business trip. It was easy to link my laptop and iPhone to it. It starts quickly and the battery lasts at least a day when it's in standby mode. I haven't found anywhere that it hasn't worked yet. I'm considering canceling my home internet and just using this instead!!

This may not be bad product for someone who seldom uses the Internet or who doesn't stream movies or music but it's to be use as little as possible. I would say use it for emergency only!!! In just a few minutes to a few hours it uses up all the GB that you have in yor contract. Keep in mind that companies automatically give you more GBs but charge you am arm and a leg for it. Unless you have 1000 GB per day, DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT! If you have internet at home, at work, and wifi accessibility everywhere, it is not worth it and you DO NOT NEED IT!, unless you are filthy rich or swimming in money or get free GB from your phone company. FYI: for those who use iPhone/iPad, the text messages uses the GB and this device is wonderful to help you get your text send when there is no WiFi but as I said, if you text much, it will use up all your GBs in minutes!!! Plus pretty much any phone nowadays including the iPhone can act as a hotspot! Don't buy this product. It's a trick for you to spend way much more money than what you are spending on your phone or internet services!!!!

If I am unable to use my wifi for any reason beyond my control, my bill should be adjusted.

There is one (1) problem that we have had with this mobile hotspot. On several occasions, the screen blacked out and will not come back on after pushing the on button again. The only way to start it up again was to POP the battery and reinsert it. Then it comes on!

I like to recommend to anyone who is looking for this product

The product was ineffective in four different locations throughout miami. I would rarely get service and when I did, it would not stay connected more than 30 minutes before resetting or dropping service, problem could have been because of AT&T and not the item itself,

Have had no problems since purchased January 1. Only had dial-up and satellite available here until the wi-fi. Satellite is a big investment for what u get and not reliable. This has been very reliable as long as u have a cell signal. Wish I would have dropped the dial-up a long time ago.

Satisfied with product. Would recommend. Gives extra boost to connection.

I find the device to be a honest and perfect connection to the internet.

This is a great device just wish AT&T had an unlimited plan for it.

this is an excellent hotspot. When I travel with colleague is easily centers as the hub of information to my work team the range is great password protection is easily configured and the splash screen of it in the touchscreen functionality is in great value add.

I've had the unit just over a month. I cannot wait until the contract period is over to find something else to connect me to the internet. The unit is rather large...I was expecting the old style unit similar to a zip drive. It takes a minute or so for the computer to connect to the unit. It only shows a little blue light which blinks off and on infrequently to show you are still connected. You must touch a button on the side of the unit to turn it off and on, and you cannot keep the unit plugged and charged if working from a home office...very frustrating to use. If possible try satellite or cable if available.
