A friend of mine that lives in Canada sent me his old phone. I was so happy to find that AT&T would work on this phone. I had AT&T several years ago but did not want a contract. AT&T is much better coverage than my old carrier.

You can purchase directly from AT&T but I always go to Best Buy because I can use my Best Buy credit card reward points to purchase this--makes this phone service easy on my wallet. My son says the service works great.

Easy to get and never have any problems with activation

My granddaughter has been working at her "first grown-up job" as she calls it, for a few months. Learning to live on a budget is difficult so prepaid is an inexpensive way to go and gives her enough to pay for the other essentials such as rent and food.
