I wanted a simple home phone that didn't require external power in case of a blackout. This phone gave me that at a good price.

just needed a simple landline phone, and that's what it's. Didn't really need the stored caller ID feature, but it's there.

The nice thing about these old style phones is that you don't need electricity for them to work. So even if your power gets knocked out from a winter storm you can still call your friends and family to complain about loosing your power...

It’s a good hurricane phone in case the lights (or actually WHEN) the lights go out in a hurricane. At least you have a functioning landline.

Everyone should have one in case the cell towers are not effective or working, especially in an emergency

This was bought to work with an Ooma (voip phone system) my mother is in assisted living. Phone is easy to use for a nice wonderful mother 91 years young

It works well Needed a spare phone for the office

I just love my cute little house phone friend's laugh when they see it but you just never know when you might need it works well no issues at all had it over 5 months.

This is a corded standard no frills phone. Good for the extra phone of power outages where the phone line have power but the electricity is off. Many times in an outage the face wireless phones will not work. maybe not even the base station. A simple phone like this one can be used because the phone service is separately powered. The is also good for a rarely use out out let that may need a phone or is in an area where there is a plug and no wireless reach.

was looking for just a phone, a simple phone for the kitchen. No high tech stuff. Works well, few adjustments. Love it. Great!

I bought this phone because I needed a line powered phone when the power goes out. it is a good basic phone and it has caller ID too. This will provide phone service if the phone lines are working but your electrical power is out.

This telephone replaced my old Princess style phone. It's a wonderful improvement with excellent features.

The phone does not work when you lose your power.... A total surprise since no outlet is used

We are in the process of moving and I needed something to use with our Ooma while we were making the transition. It works fine. It has all of the functions that you expect in a basic corded phone. Seems fully functional, easy to use.
