We have a cordless phone system connected to our house phone line. Some of the people in the house loose the handsets. We can not find them because the batteries die. The only way to maintain our home phone line is to have a corded phone that has limited movability and do not require batteries to be charged. There were other systems that included a corded phone and a number of cordless handsets. These cost more. Since we only needed one additional corded phone, this was a cost effective way to maintain our hose phone system.

I needed a simple telephone connected for visitor notifications at our condo. This instrument performed the intended task perfectly.

Good features and quality, but the short attached handset cord makes it difficult to use without holding the body in the other hand. Recommend for travel or secondary use only.

I bought this phone for my Mom, as her old one had died. It had to be simple, as she is 106. This is a basic phone and does little more than make and receive calls. It does not have a bunch of extra buttons that could be confusing. It turned out to be a good choice, as she is happy with it.

returned did not work in our home the land line is no longer useful so I was not able to use the phone

The phone works well. Because it's a "trimline," when you hold it, it's too easy to accidentally hit the flash button, which interrupts your call.

needed a very basic slim line phone for elderly person living in skilled nursing home. price was right and it does the job

This phone works like a home phone is suppose to. I must say that I didn’t see that batteries were needed for the caller Id to work but that’s ok. Good thing I had some laying around in the house.

I've been very happy with these phones (I bought two!) They work just fine. The sound quality is very good. The ringer is a bit "toy-like sounding", but that doesn't really matter. I'd buy another if I ever need to replace a corded phone.

This phone works well as a bedroom phone. It doesn't take up a lot of room on a night stand. the volume level is good.

All the telephones I use in my house are wireless. I needed a better and an other cheap wired telephone when my electric power goes out. So far it worked fine.

I needed a basic phone to use in case of an emergency at home. As this one is a direct wire and not a wireless model, it will work when others won't

This corded phone is great to have on hand. I use it during the hurricane season that is if you still have a landline. Keeps you connected the old fashioned way.

I ditched my cordless when I found out it was as powerful as a cell phone tower in radiation, bought this and it works well.

It was just perfect. I needed to have a land line just in case my cell phone went out again, so this was just the perfect answer.
