It's a cheap phone that works

Good basic phone for power outages

I purchased it so that in case of a power outage, I will have a backup communication option. I wish the base was a little heavier so the phone wouldn't move around so freely. But I guess I won't be using it except for emergency situations anyway. The price was good at around $15.

I like that the ringer can be turned off for use on a bedroom night stand. The keypad is unlighted and the digits are hard to read on the black colored model in low light.

Does not have back light so it is hard to see numbers in low light. The ringer is very loud even in quietest setting but for a low cost landline it does exactly as it should.
