Okay not the greatest phone. Bought in case the power would go out

cheap! cheap! cheap! need I say more what happened to good old well made items?

Phone power is fine but no dial tone after less than a year.

Where the springs were for the battery, out of four there were only 2 springs.

Try it yourself. Junk, junk, junk, junk, junk, junk.

It is ok. Basic phone. No bells and whistles but it works.

Everyone should check online for what they are interested in before going to the store, It's $12.99 online. In the store, the price said $16.99. Bring any price differences in price to the attention of an employee in that area. They will check and give you the lower price. Phone was a snap to put together. I got it in case I lose electric. Also got it because the cordless phone I have starts to beep only after talking for 15 minutes, letting me know it soon will stop. This, despite the fact it's in the recharge state when not in use. which is most of the time. You have to have caller ID from your phone service provider for it to display incoming call numbers. I don't need that service, so it doesn't bother me.

I though this phone would be a great solution for a blind friend and it worked great while it lasted. However, less than 3 months later, the phone's microphone stopped working. You can hear the calling party, but they cannot hear you. The return period is over with Best Buy and the box is gone, so I'm not sure I can make a warranty claim with AT&T. I guess I'll go to the swap meet in hopes of finding an old Bell System phone. They seem to last forever.

It doesn't have any bells or whistle. It is also cheaply made

dose not work,to late to return it had service man look at it

Came broken. Cord not the correct one. Unusable. Have to send back.

The phone hangs up during conversations when your check accidently comes in contact with the disconnection lever. It happened too often and this phone is now in the Goodwill pile.

The letters and numbers on the HANDSET should be lighter

Was looking for a cheap phone powered by the phone line. It was cheap and it looks and feels it.

Bought this to replace a. Wall phone that was hissing wand buzzing. Sound quality is good. Especially like the variable volume so my spouse and inare now comfortable with the volume. A little confusing to set up, but easy to use after. Like the caller I'd feature. No trouble with the flash button -- others must hold the phone differently than I do. Have not had it long enough to rate durability.

LCD screen is not legible when either you darken contrast or lighten the contrast have difficulties reading the display for caller I'd on phone. But other Than that it's Inexpensive phone to have
