the numbers on the key board should be a bright white or a color that stands out as they are hard to see in dim light, Other wise it is a nice phone and I like that it stores the one key with long distance numbers.

    Horrible Design

Overall the phone seems sturdy and made well. It does have a bit of a static sound though. The biggest flaw is that the flash button is located on the top side of the handset so it is easy to accidentally click it and hang up on people. This phone is going back to the store.

This phone failed 2 weeks after warrenty expired, called AT&T, they would do nothing. Phone just stopped working. The caller ID display on phone does not light up, virtually impossible to read unless you are directly under a bright light, also the buttons are unlighted.....good luck if you have to make a call in the dark, This is the second AT&T phone I have purchased that did not last.. I will not be buying AT&T phones any longer. Good ain't cheap and cheap ain't good....this phone was the latter.

It's not possible to use this as a wall phone, at least not the one that I was sent. In the first place it's impossible to disconnect the long phone line so that a shorter one can be plugged into the wall jack, and even if you could, there's only one place to attach the phone base to the wall jack and it's UPSIDE DOWN!!!!!! Obviously a rocket scientist didn't design it. What ticks me off the most is that it's not possible to give it ZERO stars.

OK phone, but didn't meet expectations

We were looking for a black, corded wall phone powered by the phone line (not plug in) and with Caller ID to replace our ancient kitchen wall phone. This one seemed to be just right, however 1) the display is unreadable except in bright light even with the contrast set to max, 2) the cord is too short (mentioned by other reviewers), and a black wall mounting plate is very difficult to find. Very disappointing...

This phone has a permanent short wire that cannot be interchanged and often does not put calls through. The earpiece cannot be cradled on the shoulder due to interference with buttons on both sides of the phone.

Phone itself is good, the LCD display is awful!

    Posted .

This is the second of these phones that I've purchased, and the only reason I got rid of the first one was because the LCD got smudged with something (maybe just a fingerprint!) and even using the gentlest of cleansers I couldn't get it out; so I couldn't read the caller ID. Being aware of this problem, I took special care with the second one, but somehow the blasted thing got a nasty smudge, and the very same thing happened. The phone itself works fine, so it's great if you don't want to screen your calls; but, if you do, beware!!

    Speaker Feedback

When ever we lifted the phone off the base, we got a loud feedback squeal from the phone. We tried everything to see if there was a conflict with another phone or the tv but nothing worked. We are returning this phone. Will not bother trying a replacement of the same type.
