The Audio-Technica LP70XBT is an absolutely fantastic turntable. It is a fully automatic turntable that also features bluetooth for wireless streaming. It includes a AT-VM95C stylus and is compatible with all AT VM95 series replacement cartridges if you ever feel like upgrading your stylus. The turntable is capable of playing both 33 1/3 and 45 RPM records, and can play both 7 and 12 inch records. An adapter is included to play 45s, but Audio-Technica made the head-scratching decision to not include anywhere to store the adapter on the turntable itself, unlike the LP60 before it. Considering I don't play 45s very often, I'll probably put this thing in a drawer somewhere and completely forget about it. That is really the only "negative" experience I've had with this turntable, which for me personally, isn't even a real negative. Everything else has been phenomenal. Setup was a breeze. Everything comes packaged very securely and you have to do a little bit of assembly to get setup. You have to put the platter on and use an included ribbon to move the belt to the drive mechanism. It sounds more intimidating than it actually is. It only take a few seconds and you're ready to go. Bluetooth setup is equally quick and simple. If you've ever set up a bluetooth device before, you know what to expect. Hold the bluetooth button till it flashes, then put your speaker into pairing mode, and voila, you should be connected. Once connected, the turntable will automatically connect every time you turn it on and the speaker is also on. Performance is very good. I was very satisfied with the sound quality. However, I still prefer using a wired setup, either with headphone or my speakers. But it's nice to have the wireless option as well. Using the turntable is very nice with it's fully automatic operation. The way it works is you place your record on the platter, and then just hit start, and the tone arm automatically lifts and moves over to the record and lowers. Once the record reaches the end (or you hit the "stop" button) the tone arm will once again lift, and return to the resting position so that you can either flip the record over, or remove it completely. The whole process works perfectly and takes just a little bit of work off of you. However, if you prefer placing the stylus manually, you can of course still do that. Overall, the LP70XBT is an all around great turntable which is well built, easy and fun to use. I highly recommend for anyone that is looking for a great turntable.
