Turntable problem

If I try to play an album I get static and distortion out of left side speaker. I have tried other speakers, receivers, and turntables playing same album. Did not have that problem. I think I have had it about 3 weeks so it’s to late to return to Best Buy. I have been taking chemo and radiation treatments and now taking a new drug to fight cancer, so there are not many days I can take back to store.

Turntable made loud noise - no solution

The specifications looked good - Bluetooth and USB interface - and my impression was audio technica is a quality brand. When I unpacked and tried the turntable, the stylus did not track well and made loud scratching noise. This was reproduced on several records. I contacted Audio technica support and iterated with a support engineer. Sent videos of the sound and finally agreed that there must be a cartridge problem. I was told that they would send a replacement with 2-day FedsX shipping. Sadly after four days nothing. I understand problems occur but had hoped there would be greater sense of urgency to help a customer. Maybe an isolated problem but if you have options consider them prior to making an audio technica purchase is my conclusion. I hope I didn’t do permanent damage to several old LPs.
