Internal Components shorted out after 1.5 years.
|Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was a good mid tier turntable, but something shorted out inside of it after only a year and a half. Didn't use it everyday either, certainly didn't push it hard. Still made of cheap parts it seems.

JUST WHAT I NEEDED
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.**Review: Audio-Technica AT-LP120XBT Bluetooth Stereo Turntable** **Overview:** The Audio-Technica AT-LP120XBT is a contemporary turntable with a unique blend of classic vinyl appeal and modern Bluetooth capabilities. Designed for both newcomers to vinyl and seasoned enthusiasts, the turntable showcases Audio-Technica's continued commitment to quality and innovation in the realm of analog audio. **Key Features:** 1. **Bluetooth Connectivity**: One of the standout features is its Bluetooth functionality, allowing users to wirelessly connect to speakers and headphones, lending a great deal of flexibility in how and where one listens to their records. 2. **Direct Drive Motor**: Ensures consistent platter speed, an essential component for accurate playback. This is particularly significant for DJs or those who require a stable playback speed. 3. **Manual Operation with Adjustable Dynamic Anti-skate Control**: Offers users full control over the playback experience. It's an essential feature for those looking to delve deep into the world of vinyl. 4. **Upgradable Cartridge**: Comes with an AT-VM95E Dual Magnet™ phono cartridge, which offers excellent clarity and detail. Plus, the ability to upgrade the cartridge ensures the turntable's longevity as one's vinyl collection and audio preferences evolve. **Pros:** - **Build Quality**: As expected from Audio-Technica, the build quality is robust and is likely to last for years with proper care. - **Ease of Use**: The turntable is user-friendly, making it suitable for both novices and experts. - **Sound Quality**: Offers a clear and authentic sound, especially when paired with a quality speaker system. - **Value for Money**: Given its feature set and brand reputation, the AT-LP120XBT offers significant value for its price point. **Cons:** - **Bluetooth Latency**: As with many Bluetooth devices, there might be a slight latency. However, for casual listening, this shouldn't be a major issue. - **Not Fully Automatic**: For those who prefer fully automatic turntables, the manual operation might be a drawback. **Conclusion:** The Audio-Technica AT-LP120XBT provides a harmonious blend of the traditional vinyl experience with modern-day conveniences. Its Bluetooth functionality is a significant plus for those wanting a wireless setup, though purists might still opt for a wired connection to avoid any potential loss of audio fidelity. Regardless of your stance on Bluetooth in turntables, there's no denying that this model offers a high-quality audio experience, making it a worthy addition to any audio setup.

Poor Workmanship & Support
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had this for less than 6 months and it completely stopped working. For reference we've had our previous record for over a decade and it was still going strong when my we got this one. Best buy would not do anything about it and the manufacturer made us pay nearly $100 to send it to them to repair. Pretty obnoxious for a supposed "quality" and "reputable" company. I definitely would not recommend this to anyone.

DIdn't last long
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought it for my dad thinking that he can connect the turntable to his new wireless headset. Unfortunately, we've realized he it was not possible. However, it started making a background noise while playing after only 1-2 weeks of usage. Not sure if we just happened to buy defective product or it's just poor quality. You won't get the same sound as with the direct connection to the speakers via receiver.

Manual lifting of tone arm after album end is like
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Manual lifting of tone arm after album end is like old Edison Cylinder players. Even my old Panatrope stops after 78 ends. No auto lift on arm after record ends. You have to rig a pulley on the ceiling above the turntable with a loose string and another pulley above your head with the string coming down to within reach so when you hear the scrape over and over, just pull the string and tie it off to a weight on the table. Not quite the turntable to fall asleep with in your sweet babies arms after a romantic album. Lousy engineering department. Just opened it today after 2 plus years

||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased on May 21, and today June 9, stopped working. Not worth the price
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to return beacuse we could not get the arm to balance correctly. We followed the directions step by step and even watched several videos. The needle would just skip across the record. Maybe it was our error but was not impressed by how hard it was to set up.
