Got it for my teenage son he is all about vinyl now he has discovered my old records from 80 s and 90 s and 2000 s and given him appreciation for older music

I finally retired my 40 year old Yamaha direct drive quartz turntable. I was pleasantly surprised to find this turntable had fulfilled my expectations.

This is my first record player, but so far I like it. The only downside is that you have buy separate speakers, but it works well.

Just what the teenage niece in law wanted to use for vinyl records in her bedroom for Christmas so easy pick up in a different state

I liked this turntable for the first couple of months and it worked just fine as a plug and play model but as I used it more and got into the vinyl community, I learned of its problems. With only 2 months of use, the turntable started to have timing issues which is easily fixed with a small screwdriver and going under the turntable. But then the sound quality got worse over time too and for only a couple of months of use, that isn’t a good testament to quality. Best Buy are true geniuses because they have a generous 14 day return window for a product that fails 2-4 months into use so they absolve themselves of fault! Wow! I am in contact with Audio Technica since the warranty is 1 year and I still believe in the brand. I wouldn’t buy this again I’d get an Audio Technica LPW30TK for only $50 more you get a manual tone arm, better tracking, wow and flutter of only 0.15% and signal to noise ratio greater than 60 dB. This is the bare bones recommended turntable to get into the hobby and besides it’s build quality, it works and won’t damage your records so it gets 2/5.

We bought it for our 17-year-old son who loves music and is now collecting records also bought a Bluetooth speaker to go with it it’s very nice

Got this for my daughter on her birthday. Shipped from local Best Buy in 1 day. No damage. Great price. She has ahd it for a month and it seems to be working really well.

I did a little research before purchasing Technica Turntable. I was able to get the best deal for the price. The turntable was compatible to my old speakers and if I wanted change to wireless it is capable.
